I doubt you’ll see this Brett Simms, but thank you for making the sport of ninja so much better and so much more fun! It would NOT be as good without you! Also, great video Anton as always, it was a great way to start out the morning!

If the drop-boxes were either able to fall in both directions, or (perhaps even more fun) if you randomly alternate the direction each one can fall, I'm sure you could get the difficulty up to match the creativeness! Randomly alternating boxes seems like an obstacle worthy of Takeshi's Castle!

The one at the end would be even neater if it were on an incline, so if you don't put both bars in at the same time, it slides away and you fall.

What if you arranged lots of the collapsing boxes in a spiral up the inside of a cone. And it's like a combo obstacle because they are angled inward and you have to keep enough centripital momentum to get out of the hole. And the bottom of the boxes are mounted free floating in the air at the end of pipes so it's like you are running on air.

"You attract everything that you're afraid of", that is an interesting idea, surely in this case though it was more an inevitability after the crack that repeating that same loading that caused the crack would break it on the next attempt, rather than something that could be affected in any way by your fear level. I do not think you willed the axe failure into existence by thinking about it. I think you felt afraid because the obvious physical reality, as you knew and commented on, was that it was going to break. Well, it seems you knew from the start that you would be lucky to get one attempt out of it. Still, I think there is good advice in those words. Especially for movement, if in the moment if you are visualizing a failure scenario, then it is probably more likely going to happen. Like, you might even make your body play out exactly what you were thinking about, or something just as bad. I'm not a professional committer though.😄 Anyway, I by far like the falling steps the best of these obstacles. It is very easy to understand and relate to the platforms falling if you don't keep moving. It also looks like something I could try and for me that makes it more fun to watch. If you really want to go viral with the axe, lets go metal next time ⚔⚔

Can i ask a question MR FOMENKO which one is better for abs plank Mountain climber or leg raise.
@LatimusChadimus Жыл бұрын
That would depend on your goals. You might be better off doing offset loaded carries or even doing windshield wipers but you also could put the barbell in your elbows and do a variety of exercises
@AntonFomenko Жыл бұрын
If we chose between this two I would go for leg raise cuz of the bigger resistance. MC have static tension tho.

2:10 - no you don't ... if you sprint yes but if you run you never push off - that is bad form, inefficient and will give you overuse injuries. I -see this issue in ninja warrior a lot - most of you guys don't "run". It works to a degree and it is not noticed on courses with lots of grip implements - but it really holds back the times. When you run you are falling and you just move your feet out of the way so you can fall and then get your feet under you so you don't fall flat. Bodybbuilders also don't understand cardio and the way they treat it for cutting is ridic. But a few are starting to grasp it. Seems to be common for people into strength sports to assume there is nothing to running at all or that cardio works same a resistance training. I remember watching Anton run vs Juji years ago ... still no clue about running years later. And if the OG ninja warrior teacher (Brett) doesn't understand running he raised a whole large swarth of culture on ignorance... But in truth I don't have time for gymnastics after I am done cardio AND pump some iron. So hmm. I can see why you guys don't have time for running - that's an extra hour of stretch, plus run, plus now you need to rest for some hours (maybe all day) and if you drove there that's even more time .... - none left for climbing and playing
