That was truly a class call from Antonio. He knew that when he put that money in, there was little to no chance he could win the pot outright. He had to make a read and decide whether or not his opponent is capable of overplaying a dry five.

It's not an angle. I've never understood poker players that accuse angle shooting in so many normal spots. Yeah people act deceivingly to see people's reactions. That's poker. Deception, bluffs and 'hollywooding' are part of the game. Trying to appear weak while strong and vice versa is poker 101

Anyone saying Antonio is a fish for making the call with KQ is an idiot. Yeah he’s at the bottom of his range, but he’s also at the bottom of his stakes. And on a telecast such as LATB, he doesn’t want to be bluffed. It’s worth the call all day. If this game is a 300/600 game, it’s nearly an instafold for him. I love these KZbin poker “experts” that think the game is so easy... while their graph consistently nosedives in their local 1/2 game.

so ur reasoning that antonio is not a fish here is because hes playing in such low stakes for his bankroll, that he should be calling more often than not in these spots so he doesnt look like an idiot? and you are giving out advice? lmfao

I’m a huge Antonio fan, but I have to agree on the angling here. He fakes his chips, fakes a muck, fakes his chips, fakes another muck, then finally makes the call. Not the craziest of angles l, but enough to have someone call him out on it at the table.

I feel like that's just gamesmanship. But then again, I've seen people run actual scumbag angles like hide chips, bottom big chips, pretend to be drunk, and claim to have gone all in without looking when they actually did, so stuff like this seems pretty tame by comparison.

Esfandiari game change a lot, he makes a realy bad call preflop with KQ, and make another bad call on the flop with the KQ, why he don't bet the turn when he hits the Q , if you call the flop with nothing , and calls francisco bet on the river, Esfandiari say here TAKE the 7,000$...wtf...🤔...
@Gidid56
@Gidid56 6 жыл бұрын
willie 772 lol, maybe just maybe Esdandiari has some deeper understanding of Poker than you do. Actually his Line is totally reasonable. Francisco has huge sizing tells, his raise Preflop screams middling pocket pair or AK, Antonio just played optimal vs. that range. River he only looses too trapped AcKc and 88 (which might not 3bet all the time), but beats the 10 times more likely JJ-99

OK so I discovered on line poker free chips and everyone else's stats. I learned to tighten up and play machine gun hands. Before that I played hold em cards up. So it's like a random generator. And I've seen it get pretty wild . Start delivering four of a kinds back to back and jackpot hands non stop for two days. I have long hard winning streaks. So be on line and I have the ryrhymn of the cards instead if all the emotions and misleading if 7 other psychopaths. Quite simply it's the percentages if all in playing . I started with 300k chips to start and within 2 weeks I was up $68M . Level up. I've got a pretty sure fire method . Wait for good cards. Wait a little longer and all in on anything above pocket 10s. I just follow the wave. All in all out . And I cruise the flops a few times and watch the futility if the unwashed masses chase the small cards. After 30 years of this when I have more money than sense I will still pull down a full house 4-7 off suit or some other miracle But mostly I've learned mist people have absolutely nothing special and get bored and start betting it. And once the flop comes....for the most part that's what yer stuck with make it dam good. It never improves . Figuring averages and how many times that outside straight failed to materialize lean back on the odds and know that fourth or fifth straight building is going to hit ...it's tue odds ! My winning percentage is 33-38. Let's call it 35% . I have to lose twice to win once and with 4-5 other players you just beat the odds. Plus it adds anxiety to the loser as he may take a real flyer and Lose it all. Because I throw away 5-10 hands before I feel lucky and the big boys arrive and it's all in I win. It's no big postulation party for these meatheads it's just show for the lookie loos

I have never seen Antonio have a winning session in a cash game. He can't go one session without making bad calls and bluffs that make no sense where he has little money into the pot and it's not worth it and are always in situations where the opponent must have a big hand. You let 3 guys go to the river and when someone bets the pot on the river you attempt to bluff? that is beyond stupid. The only time you should attempt a play like that is if it's a heads up raised pot and if there is actually a lot of money in the pot so it's worth stealing. Antonio risked 10k to win 4k when do to the way the hand went down Fransisco most likely has a huge hand and was trapping. Do you really think Fransisco was trying to run a bluff on the river betting pot into 3 opponents? Even then it is a judgment call that shouldn't be based on this guy has beat me out of a lot of pots I have to get back at him. If anything Antonio should be trying to stay out of the way of Fransisco not trying to go to war with him.
