El arte con mayúsculas ...el duende de Andalucía ....los jóvenes que están por otros gustos ...otras músicas no todos claro ...deberían volver esas raíces bellas y auténticas de el sur ...a los años 60 toda España deliraba por lo nuestro el arte por vivir ...flamenco puro ....existe una gran renovación ....pero no tiene el auje de el pasado ....apezar de que otras culturas se apasionan con ello ...Paraná aluscinante ....que nadie puede olvidar ...Antonio ...

In 1968 I beheld Antonio and the Ballets of Madrid in Los Angeles at the Dorthy Chandler Pavillion. Since then I have seen many fine, and outstanding performances of various kinds, but none of them comes close to that 1968 performance. Although it was nearly sold out, someone of authority must have seen us sitting in the distant back of the auditorium, and for some unknown reason gave us front-row seats, upfront and center. After several encores, the audience kept standing with enthusiastic applause. I have yet to see any other ovation equaled. Close, but not equal.

You cannot improve on the utterly perfect - there will never be another Cristina and Antonio! I am envious, I never saw them perform live.
