This year i caught a camponotus fallax queen (sadly died unknown reason), a lasius brunneus queen (raised nanitics but she died because i exposed them to sunlight to move them as they were not moving with light from a flashlight), 2 emarginatus queens (I made a 2 queen colony and they currently they have about 20 nanitics), a colobopsis truncata (I released her as she wasn't laying eggs) and a camponotus baldaccii queen (Has wing but no eggs i hope she has mated)

I see you have many queens and many stories! Seems like you fried your Brunneus there😅 Wish you good luck with the queens and colonies remaining. PS: For some reason Fallax are generally developing slow and many do not survive. Don't take it personally

@@AntsVienna my fallax colony that I have from last year has now three workers to pupay and a decent brood pile, and I am sure i will catch some messor queens because there's a big colony in my school that last year filled the school yard with alates and one queen that I called has now a colony of about 50 workers

@@antkeeper_greece2042 Nice - hope I can find some Messor too. Do you remember when (which time of year) the Messor alates were flying at your school?

I did, but no luck so far for me - with the exception of that single queen
