Atlantis's shields could tank a solar flare even when expanded to cover half a planet, though I think that was with 3 ZPM's and under the control of the Ancients.

The Eye of Tiamat was never destroyed. In the season 5, episode 8 episode The Tomb, it was buried in Marduk's zugarat by O'Niell after he threw in a hand grenade and collapsed it. Along with Marduk in a Russian SG member's body It might have been destroyed later when Anubis used the eyes to destroy Abydos and his ship was destroyed, or it could be currently floating in space where Abydos used to be

Are the Goa'uld eyes the Goa'uld ZPM? Or an attempt to create something similar to ZPM?

the eyes are an ancient power source of crystal construction each eye can ither produce or amplify energy and if you use all together it provides an extreme amount of energy not ZPM levels but more than any other Goa'uld power generation at the time it may even rival the Asgard energy production but the specifics are not shown so most is speculation but nothing comes quiet close to a ZPM level of energy output except the harnessing of Zero point energy within our own universe

​@@vamp1248In my view they aren't actually powersources. They will be similar to mirrors in a laser experiment. These crystals will take the energy supplied to the weapon and create the actual energy pulses. Lighting is just plasma, these are basically plasma weapons, and each turret can then be used to create one constant stream, by aligning all of the crystals together.

I have another question, what if this super weapon is powered not by 6 eyes but by 3 ZPM, how powerful will it be? Will it be able to pierce planets and destroy 10 Ori ships with one shot.

I remeber as a kid i was super disappointed with the design of anubis. How could you give the coolest looking god such a basic desing instead of running with the „dog“ theme? Now as i m older… i will still die on that hill, fight me😂

I believe the limits placed in Anubis was that he could only achieve what he would've otherwise been able to achieve had he not attempted ascension hence the shields and etc. are not necessarily ancient designs. Ut he may have guided Goa'uld scientists along the right lines to convergently develop ancient designs. Also, it's clear that access to knowledge is a fundamental benefit to ascension including possible future time lines as shown by the newspapers shown to Daniel at the cafe. I can only assume that Ooma was also previously sanctioned if it was possible for her to be fooled or excessively optimistic and believef that Anubis may have changed yet the dualog suggests that Anubis hid his presence from her. Thete's plot holes galore with the Anubis arc and I didlike that the deus ex machina solution was repeated with the Ori in "The Ark of Truth". The solution was sloppy enough so why did they repeat it...

Something I always wondered about the Guo'ald, specifically, about their Unas hosts. we know that the Guo'ald parasites (I won't call them symbiots since they are more parasitic in nature than that) evolved on the same world as the Unas and became their first hosts. The Unas were primitive cavemen like beings but were still intelligent enough to adapt to new situations, including going from cave dwellers to a modern society in just a few years because of the Unas named Chaka that Daniel Jackson first encountered These "primitive" Unas eventually realized that by wearing bone collars around their necks, prevented the parasites from taking them as hosts The thing that I wonder is, after they started wearing the collars, did that stop the Guo'ald from ever taking Unas as hosts ever again? Did Ra, who was dying at the time, come to Earth inside a Unas body? We've only seen two Unas Guo'ald ever in SG1, were they the last two Unas hosts left in the galaxy?

@dragonweyr44 the history is thin but the goa'uld took unas host first spread out in the galaxy with unas army's then when ra found earth he was the first goa'uld to go from unas to human he then set up shop on earth and basicly gave each goa'uld a turn to take humans over time they replaces the unas with humans and the unas probably went on to be worked to death killed outright and replaced or just died the unas would vanish from the goa'uld except a few and this left the unas to be primitive on there home worlds

@@SCI-FI-NERD-DRMCK4Y Still though, there remained Unas hosts, at least, 2 of them left And the Guo'ald that stayed behind on their homeworld, still try to take Unas as hosts, if it weren't for their bone collars The only thing I still can't figure out is when Ra died in the original movie, the parasite tried to leave his human body, but it came out as an alien figure, presumably, an Unas But still, the movie came out befor the folklore "bible" of SG1 so the alien Ra could have been anything. Some fans have even speculated that Ra's alien form was an Asgard
