Absolutely brilliant demonstration of deep subject matter expertise and Feynman technique. Now I get the hang of it. After years of search for a simple+crisp resource from a Hindustani classical listening enthusiast perspective. Much appreciated! My key takeaways: Ragas: algorithms. The author defines the overall structure/architecture. The performer tweaks the embellishments/value adds. The listener journeys. Goal is to shape the listener subconscious to a specific landscape. Landscape is a function of mood/environmental conditions (weather/season/time of day). Landscape color depends on depth+richness of personal experience. Kan swar: constructive interference of overlapping resonant frequencies.

Technically (I mean musically) I don't understand much of what she is explaining but for her style, smile, lexicon and intensity I feel that she has a thorough knowledge of and total command over her subject.
