Hi, there are home childcare providers, in home support workers and personal support workers. It is competitive as an international applicant but if you have work experience/ authorization to work in Canada I would say it is fairly easy to find work as personal support workers are higher in demand

Your husband can apply for an open work permit from Sri Lanka or apply for a visitor visa first and accompany you to Canada. Once he is in Canada he can apply for a work permit from within Canada.

IT is generally a very good field in Canada. I don’t think is one of the toughest markets to find a good job in. But I can’t be entirely sure about how high the salaries are. I’d assume it’s lower than what a similar role would get paid in the US for example.
