Let's talk about the quality of this video, beginning with the 'news' overlay with static voiceover, that buttery smooth transition at 1:40, and the subtle exhaust note of RE at 2:13. The title says it's a review but I'd also think of it as a ' day in the life of Ather by a RE owner'. He talked about what an average owner might go through, say the potholes, few charging points (some of which might not even work lol), and how it is to ride in traffic. The production on this video is just fantastic, just one of the best automotive reviews period. Your review explains every single thing, even though it is long, doesn't feel so. The selection of music is just too good that enhances the video. When I talked to the Ather executives, they mentioned that the buyback option would not pay you up to 85k if you return the bike after 3 years. It means that when you upgrade to a new Ather variant, you may get that much discount. Quite misleading offers and options are shown on their website.

Two years ago my parents had bought me an electric scooter of a brand which was availale in our town. It was of around ₹60,000. Ofcoursewe could have a petrol scooty ofcourse which gives better power, BUT it didn't require the driving license. So it was used by me to go to school and college and in-town commute and im still using it. Though it goes at max speed of 35kmph on full charge only.But its rider quality was so smooth that it was definitely better that using a normal scooty or bike in heavy traffic. It relieves fear of getting a ticket. So many students do buy electric vehicles. PLUS i was the first student to bring vehicle in school and th authorities alo couldn't say anything so the Charm and centre of attraction was on a different level at that time dude. Lol

I have the mighty Hero Impulse, which I love, and yet, when I rode the Ather, very first ride on Warp mode, I fell in love with all the things you reacted to in the video with glee. Much kindred. Lovely work. Keep it up. By the way, I learnt riding two wheelers on a Bullet. Very first ride in my life, at 16, was a Bullet. Been biking for years in two countries. Gone through Yamaha V Max, Honda Hurricane, Suzuki Katana, Ninja 600, and others on the way, and still, Ather is very real for a joyful ride!

Liked your sense of humour and unbiased comments.You should have commented about the simple offered on this expensive scooter.Also you didn't mention the subscription costs for navigation and service.You did mention the ride quality and lack of ABS system though.Would like more technical details from you and acceleration claims like 3.3 sec for 0 to 40 km and 0 to 60 in 6.8 seconds though.Overall ,a good nice review and eye opener for first time EV buyers.
