This is a very common problem in UK homes. If bathroom accidentally has a puddle from a non careful shower the floor underneath gets a puddle from ceiling leak as well, the solution is keeping bathroom floors carefully dry all the time . Also, Anushae if you wash your carpets in rooms with carpet cleaner it will feel so nice and homely. Especially if everyone is already taking their shoes off at the door, (in a country where dog walks are as common as the paths), it will feel so much more cosy. I love how you have set up a beautiful home in little time Masha Allah.
