I was in Chail, Himachal Pradesh for a show and while coming back my team and I found this beautiful place. We loved it so much that we decided to record a live, raw version of my song "Gul" 🌷 here. We set up a mic, a few cameras, made DIY shoe covers, battled a bunch of spiders and hoped for the best. So here's this one take recording of the song, enjoy. x

Sounded like a melody but struck like a thunder. It was realization, but there was no sadness in it, it was something else, there was a soft smile that grew in the midst off all this silence coz it was just not therapy. It was more of the feeling of those untouched words, those unspoken words and emotions, those pauses, those silences that you have and want to say to that "one" person, but just can't coz you want them to understand it, you expect them to feel it, not by mentioning those words but by your actions of how special that person is for you, how special she is. Hoping everyday, praying that she gets it and we become more of each other, whether it be the in the bond, those cherishable talks, those laughs, those blushes, those texts, those calls or those teases. You want it all, you just want to come closer, be there for her, take away her pain and double her happiness. You expect the same from her, to feel the same but still just don't expect it, you just don't care about yourself, you only care for her, so much that everything you do is for her good, everthing, whether it be the least of those unnoticeable things like an abrupt end to a conversation or a fast goodnight text or something more indiscernible, everything that you do is for her good, for her betterment. Even if it goes south for you or opposite to your expectations, it doesn't matter coz she's not sad, she's not tired or feeling degraded, she's okay, she's happy and good and that's all you wanna feel, all this only beacause of how much love you have for her; it's infinite and yes, you do wanna confess this to her and also a million things of the three tenses of the word: Happen but you just can't, you just put a shoosh to it, a lock on it and with a heavy heart you put yourself to sleep again hoping that she gets it or questioning yourself that does she even feel it? If she does, why not send a clue but lastly you think maybe she does not or she has a doubt or maybe she is going through the same as I do and just can't tell, who knows. And this goes on but all this wasn't a part of my frustration or sadness, it was just something that I could say here, just a morsel of what I have. I am way happy with her, of whatever we share and talk everyday. It puts more than a smile on my face and so does her's on her gorgeous face and lovely soul.
