This was released when I was in Engineering and I downloaded it from Warren's website. I started this track and I was awestruck with progression and melody. Still today, This track reminds me of old days and brings tears to my eyes. Funnily, there's one anecdote tied to this album. I was listening this during one study session in College on earphone and Guy next to me, Mayuresh, heard the muffled sound from my earphone. He screamed in excitement and said "Arey tu bhi sunta hai Blackstratblues kya?" and we talked half and hour about how awesome this album was.

The anecdote is very beautiful. I too have friends with whom I'll spend hours discussing bands, genres, guitars, basses, drums and what not!

Nothing feels quite as joyful as finding a friend has a shared musical taste. This song is beautiful and am glad you had a shared experience with someone. Stay blessed!

I never liked an indian guitar player , because almost all of them were playing guitar ,not the music . Warren was the big exception,what a melody tone,phrasing . It just goes inside you. Then i went to see him ,from udaipur to mumbai That time there was no online ticket thing atleast not for that gig. He was so generous to write our(me and my gf ) name in the guest list. And the time i heard him ,i just couldn't move , I felt his guitar tone in my body I can't forget that feeling , then i came to know what a tone really is. Such a humble dude. Thank you warren, thank you for everything 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

Anuva's sky is arguably Warren's best work
@sandrosadhukhan4 жыл бұрын
It's got a catchy melody, easy to hum solos for sure, but to limit an artist's best work to a single piece is trivializing his accomplishments. You could say it's your personal favourite.

Why do I remember a unit of the Indian Army / NSG recognizing this song? I somehow recall seeing a shield saying something like “for the man who gave us Anuva’s Sky”

This is your 1st ever song that I heard. Thanks to my friends with whom I practiced guitar. This song brought goosebumps.. I felt the dynamics under my skin. And when I still hear it today.. it still touches me very deep. This is certainly one of the tracks that I want to learn and play on guitar before I die.
