Great job on giving us so much details like handle thickness, edge angle, primary grind angle, factory sharpness levels, and especially, thickness behind the edge! So many reviews leave out these important details unfortunately and I'm really appreciative you gave us all this as I can now tell much more about the knife than any other review I've seen so far (and I've seen a lot!). This kind of info gives me a much better idea of how it will feel in hand and how well it will cut. I don't know why so many reviewers are so simplistic in their reviews by not giving us this kind of info. This is the exact kind of things I'm always checking out on a knife because it helps me determine if it is suited to me or not before I even have to use it and thus it can still be returned if I find that it's too thick behind the edge or has really obtuse primary grind angles. I loved seeing all these familiar measuring tools out and being used. You're my kind of guy! 😅 Thank you!

Eh, expensive equipment to tell you the measurements but nothing about how it is to carry and use. This is a very detailed presentation, not a review.

@@MrAliaspostmortem Fair enough. Depends on how you define "review". Could perhaps be considered a "tabletop review" or something along those lines. Thankfully there's a number of videos and articles which cover the carry and use of this blade online. I just really like that he gave info I want and need that most other places do not provide.

@@MrAliaspostmortem I would argue too, that these measurements can tell you about how it is to use as characteristics like behind the edge thickness and primary grind angles and even handle measurements will help me compare it to other knives I have. For instance, if I have other knives of similar dimensions and I find I don't like them for various reasons (edge is too thick and doesn't cut well, handle is too skinny, etc) , I will know right away if this knife with similar measurements will give me the same problems and I won't waste my time or money buying one to check out. Likewise, if I find certain knife handles or edges don't suit me well, and then I see the measurements on this knife are much improved from those other knives I don't like, then I know it will be worth checking this knife out.
