It hit all the right spots. I always had tears in my eyes when I listened to Maula mere Maula, and it took me so many years to finally watch this movie. Now I know why I was always filled with tears listening to the songs. I could feel all of the pain in me throughout the movie and this is the very pain so many go through in the world. Hats off to the creators of such a gem. I am still alive after being heartbroken many years ago and still do not have the courage to surrender to love anymore. Let Peace and love prevail in the world.

16/11/2021. Tose naina lage drove me here tbh.. Such a masterpiece.. Music,story, acting all top notch! There were few sattire which nobody will understand. Like in mela he announced that " Bharat" Khi kho gaya hain! It's shown that everyone's heart ❤ was broken! Starting from minister, police, Pasha, udit, mehru and Anwar.. Anwar falls in love with mehru considering himself as Krishna and her as meera.. But mehru was materialistic and settled with his friend instead ignoring his unconditional ❤! Finally nobody's love was complete like krishna and meera..! At the end Anwar imagines that mehru and himself meets as meera and krishna where she acknowledge his true love rather than being materialistic..

finally watched this movie in 2020 It has two angles of sides 1. Anwar who loved meharu unconditionally in his imagination, he was so deeply in love with her, that he imagined himself as Krishna meharu as Meera 2. Now the second angle is the actuall reality of life or we can say as practical thinking, as meharu wants to fulfill her dreams ,even she called Mr. Pasha as a loser who was living in imagination only & influenced Anwar to live in it. and society or political party & religious community got benefits of it. Moral: Please live in the real world , whats happening in your surroundings. Try to get involved in it otherwise you may loose your life & nothing else. Just like Shushant singh rajpot, at the end what will happened he lost his life & everything is on its place..

It wasn’t just only about Anwar but each and every character shown here was struggling for his/her love in their own way .The SP was on the verge of loosing his wife the female reporter was again seen struggling for love when she tore that photograph, and that politician was heart broken on Valentine’s Day , pasha as well got heart broken . Anwar , Mehru and Udit each one of them had their own struggle to find love where Mehru And Udit ended up being apart from each other and Anwar was left being guilty for killing Mehru which eventually killed himself from inside

Me too bro. Mehru was very materialistic but practical. I wrote her words in the first page of my Bio book when she said that ' They are loosers and impractical ' for not doing anything in their life from career point of view. So, I started studying fiercely and aggressively to crack neet so that I may also not have to loose any potential beloved in the future just because of my career. Anwar should have atleast started doing business instead of doing boring stuffs and should have purchased a nice bike and gifted mehru apple phone and atleast he should be making her believe thay someday they will certainly settle in the USA. Moral of the movie : Always value the perception, priorities and dreams of your beloved, I mean there should be maximum matching between you and her, and focus on career ( professional education ) and keep improving yourselves.

Note : showing sadhu as a symbol of communal thinking and not any priest or maulana, wasn't a good idea. But anyways, massage from the movie was great though

It's a metaphor used by the director to portray that India and its real essence has gotten lost somewhere between selfish communal and political upsurge. But at the end of the movie, the kid emerges from the crowd, from behind a policeman and a sage, which is again a metaphor symbolising the hopeful message that India and its real reason of existence will one day emerge from the dirty crowds and that people will find it again.😊

Amazing movie..Timeless movie..Brilliant movie.. a movie that only few of us can understand because only few of us have fallen in real love and got cheated too .
