Totally agree on the inspiration vs copying thing. Sometimes I don't want to spend a ridiculous amount on a palette, and it's fun to try AliExpress makeup! As long as you're not buying actual fakes that are made with all kinds of gross ingredients, who cares?! It's insane to spend that much on a palette every single time when we're just gunna be obsessed with another new one we need in 3 days anyway 🤣

Some people just don’t realize that not everyone can or wants to pay $40+ for one eyeshadow palette nor do we want to buy 15 different palettes just to find a color that matches the one palette that is trendy. I personally say who cares as long as the one cheaper version is not flat out saying “we are the same” or “I am the original palette just on sale”.

Charging $67+ for a palette is highway robbery. People are paying so much just for packaging and a brand name. I don't reach for the expensive palettes I've bought in the past anymore. The quality of the dupes I have is better, in my experience. I'm on a fixed income due to disability and it's such a lovely thing to be able to find good makeup in my price range, so I can still hold on to that part of my life. Expecting people to only buy the pricey original is a bit exclusionary, imo.

Watching this in 2021 and I also agree. I am a single mom and it would be hard to shell out big amount of money for a palette. My daughter's need comes first.. especially this time where a lot of people are losing their jobs because of the pandemic.

I would say that the Ucanbe one is more glittery and sheer (the shimmers!) whereas the BG one is more foiled, opaque metallic looking shimmers ... I know everyone has different preferences over which they like best and they are very different 😃

Good review. :) I have the BG's one of course. But I promised myself I'd only get two dupes of this. lol Trying to decide between this^, the Qbest or the Guicami palettes. They all look great. Not to mention there will probably be much more of these to come. That's one of the things I'm not so wild about; Every brand on Ali duping the same palette(and 99% of the time it's Huda) a hundred times over. Wish they'd be more original or dupe different ones.

U don't have to do the look up trick w/ the concealer for a cut crease because you have gorgeous huge lids and not hooded lids. Many times people who do that trick do it because they have hooded lids or less lid real estate so it kind of makes a line that they can "fake" their lid up to. You can just put concealer along your natural lid and it will look great!

If anyone watching this cant decide between this and the beauty glazed version... I know that at least in the US there is on Amazon another even more amazing dupe from a brand called LIFUS and it's called Galatic Dazzle. I bought bubble nebula first because I had such good luck with the new Nudes dupe, the desert dusk dupe and the URBAN decay Born to Run dupe. All 3 of which I couldnt be happier with. I was dying to get this pallete. I saw all three of these on Amazon got Bubble nebula first and then saw that the LIFUS brand one had over 1000 reviews and had an almost 5 star rating. So I said ok I'll try that one. It has the performance of the Beauty Glazed one and it has the mirror and holographic and same shade for shade layout as bubble nebula. And those were 2 things that also steered me towards bubble the first time. There are soooo so many amazing dupes on Amazon. I have one of Huda's obsessions palettes, the mauve one because I LOVELOVELOVE mauve shades. And I adore that palette and I think it might be the perfect eyeshadow palette. I have tons and tons of big brand palettes a d other makeup. The formula is hit or miss and is often times much worse than what you find on Amazon. And you pay 10x the price literally. I spent so much on makeup and skincare. I made myself do a project pan and not buy anything until I actually needed to. I just moved into my first house last week!!! That's how much money I saved from quitting cigarettes and not buying makeup. I did grab these dupes because between all of them I still paid less than I would have for i ABH palette. And those and Morphe can be and usually are hot garbage. Best of luck everyone. Dont feel like Huda is losing customers. She is doing JUST fine. It's not like I was going to by the 65$ one anyway so the sale was never hers to begin with. Dont be loyal to big brands like that. If they were loyal to you their makeup wouldnt be half of what it is ans they wouldnt lie to us on KZbin and IG. So so happy with my Amazon palettes and no one can make me feel any different

I would say the minority of people have enough of a disposable income to be able to afford the high end brands but they are pushed down our throats as if we all need them and people get themselves into debt - it’s extremely unethical ... for example I get annoyed with beauty bay for having that Klarna (payment scheme) they want you to get into debt and it’s so irresponsible 😫

On the back of the Beauty Glazed pallet does it say that it was made in China? Im asking because another youtuber Hot Mess Mama MD also did a video on the pallet and said that it did not have the cruelty free symbols on the back of the pallet and it said it was made in China and she thinks she may have bought a fake because it irritated her eyes badly.

I watched her video and here's my thoughts. 1. ALL Beauty Glazed is made in China. Fact. 2. When HMM MD couldn't find it anywhere she ended up buying it directly from Beauty Glazed own site....so not a fake. 3. I REALLY don't think Beauty Glazed has fakes. 4. What the packaging actually said was "Don 't tested on animals"....which is saying they don't test on animals. That one "t" just was off center. AND the actually outer sleeve still had the cruelty free symbol. My palette is the same. Just a typo. 5. There were an issue with some batches I hear.....some where probably recalled. Even on Ali some sellers where refunding and not sending product. I've also noticed there aren't as many listings up for it as there were.....but there are some. The ones that are up I think they're probably fine now. 6. So it was probably that^ or she is allergic to something in it. It happens. I've had two severe reactions to products here in the good old USA. One that I"m still dealing with today after years. Just saying.....and I've never had a reaction to anything on Ali after constantly buying on there since 2014.

Ucanbe and Changeable are not the same. They are sister brands and yes, this is by Changeable. Anwen has reviewed some of their palettes in the past. Ucanbe promotes their stuff a lot. The brands maybe the same people even ....but under a different name. Reviews should put Changeable instead of Ucanbe on this imo. But I can understand it seeing as how most are more familiar with Ucanbe.

Coming back to this(and having had this palette) I'll say now it is Ucanbe. They give their website on the packaging. I think I was thinking of the Prism brand(which IS their sister brand). BUT I have to think it's something like Makeup Revolution and I Heart Makeup. Their together ...but different subdivision of brand. Does that make sense? Considering they both have a New Nudes dupe(Changeable's Violet and Ucanbe's Aromas) they must be divided somewhere. Even so and maybe I'm wrong but I don't recall Makeup Revolution and I Heart Makeup putting out essentially the same palettes like this...? It's a little strange imo. OO ;)

I totally agree with you anwen. These palettes are not copies but dupes which is a different thing altogether. Counterfeit products use danger substances such as asbestos, arsenic and lead whereas dupe makeup is from a legit brand with properly legal ingredients.

They are copying the colour, and that is not copying, because if Tommy Hilfiger launches a red t-shirt with the brand's name in front and I buy a red t-shirt with "fkengjfkke" in front, no one belives is a TH t-shirt and not even think of the brand. Colours are not copyrighted and can't be. Simple as that. Also, the formula has nothing to do with the original one, so maybe some people should just chill and enjoy life.
