It is like a pen name under which someone writes/composes....Ustad Bade Ghulam Ali Khan Sahib's name pen name was 'Sabrang'...so since she had uttered the same word she touched her ears....such perfection and attention to details...and she was a young teenager at this time I think

Not only does she have perfect pitch, but also a monstrous vocal range. She mixes up to a taar saptak nishaad, which in this case is a C6 (she's singing the song in C#). That's a Soprano C, something that opera singers use head voice to reach. And of course the insane agility required to do the taans as well as the musicianship required to be able to perform a raaga like Gurjari Todi, which has such an unorthodox combination of notes with 3 komals and 1 tivra swara and the omitted Pancham. Truly an exceptional vocalist.
