Anxiety and ID: Creative Strategies to Help Reduce Symptoms and Challenging Behaviors

Webinar focuses on how to support individuals who are experiencing stress/anxiety. Presenters will discuss symptoms, i.e. what does it look like when the person is stressed and offer strategies for deescalating stress/anxiety and decreasing the occurrence of maladaptive behaviors associated with stress/anxiety. Trauma informed principles are addressed.
Participants will be able to identify symptoms of stress/anxiety, recognizing triggers, using TIC to understand responses to stress/anxiety and strategies to implement proactively and in the moment.
