@ImprovementPath5 жыл бұрын
hey, i too had an MRI done. Two of them to be precise - So i can imagine how you must be feeling. Its great news that you already implementing some of the lifestyle changes mentioned in the video. Stay on track and dont give up. An anxiety disorder is something that takes time to heal. Imagine a "normal" healthy person. If he or she gets stressed teir stress leves will shoot up but after catching a break their levels will return back to normal. Now for us with anxiety the problem is that our mind never gives us any chance to properly rest. We dont have the time to fully recover from the stress we experience because our worries fuel it and we build stress on top of stress. --> now your "normal and average" stress level is higher than it should be. You are in a constant hyperstimulated state and thats why so any of us have ongoing symptoms that do not seem to go away. It takes time and dedication for these levels to go back to where they should be. Stick to your routine, build up confidence and i am sure you will slowly feel changes happening to your body and mind. I hope its understandable what i am trying to explain :) For me understanding this was a major step for recovery! STAY STRONG and you will get the best of anxiety!

Hey, a Dentist speaking. Sometimes when we are stressed, we press our teeth, which can lead to a malfunction in our temporomandibular joint. This MIGHT cause a numbness. So maybe you can try physical therapy, acupuncture or some kind of dental splint and see if it helps you. I surely can not diagnose through the internet, but it is just a thought, that might help you.

Dude i was ready to do myself in any moment. Thank god i found this video and this comment sections gave me a bit of comfort. I've been having all kinds of syptoms including pains all over my body, choking sensation, lights being way bright, but most of all unexplainable tingling and numbness. i went to different doctors and they all found nothing and i'm scared of going to clinic anymore since i know they all say the same shit and i just end up losing money which created whole another problem of financial fear. I exercises and did different kinds of stretches and everything either didn't work or made it ten times worse and now even catching a thumbnail of relaxing yoga video on youtube gives me terror. I changed mattress and pillows and now scared shitless of just going to a bedding section on malls. I'm booking a therapy session. Did anyone go thru a similar situation of this vicious cycle?

thanks for this clear explanation, I was already sensitive to anxiety, needed a course of flagyl antibiotics after that i suddenly went numb right arm and right leg only, went to see neuro specialist he did brain mri and concluded might be stress and anxiety, even muscles or vitamine b deficiency . now doing relaxation exercises working out eating healthier and taking b12 supplements i truly hope this will help as it's driving me mental.. worst thing is I'm saying numb but sometimes it just feels "heavy" sometimes it hurts sometimes it's needle ish it's so hard to clearly explain resulting in doctors not really taking it seriously 😫

I'm in the same boat, and from what I've been told, go to see your doctors, or even the ER and get the tests you need to rule stuff out. Once that is done, and if everything is fine(which Im sure it is), you really need to try and de-stress as much as possible, such as meditate, talk to a licensed therapist, sleep, eat (even if you don't want to), and drink lots of water

I would pinch myself and wouldn’t feel pain. I went to the er and I was fine. They said it was an anxiety and stress reaction. Does anyone get numbness in their legs or arms when they are not really feeling anxious?
@MitchDaBomb_2 жыл бұрын
Im not really sure, I've been trying to think back to all the times I've had my body go all numb and try to link things together. I'm trying to discover whether or not all my numbness has been anxiety induced or if it's actually something wrong with me like a pinched nerve, diabetes, MS, or whatever. I'm leaning more towards the side that I have anxiety because as of late I've been throwing up, and them when I got to places with big crowds I tend to start getting the full body numbness ( I'm not sure why my body feels panicky in a crowd) but it's definitely possible I might have something greater going on than anxiety and I'm going to go to the doctors to get myself checked out. That's what I would recommend to you, if you're not feeling anxious but still get numb... then I check with a doctor :)

My heart feels tingly everyday and sometimes I can’t breathe properly when I feel that tingly thing. My chest also hurt most of the time like it’s clenching or it’s like unexplainable pain. I’m 14 and as far as i remember, I’ve been experiencing this for like 5 years plus? and I’m still alive so I ignored it, but it came back and it’s even worse. My parents told me that I should sit properly because they said my chest hurts because of my bad posture. Sometimes I want to go to the doctor to see if it’s nothing or something serious but my parents think it’s just because of my phone and bad sleeping schedule. I always search about what I feel and I don’t want to self diagnose I just want to know if it’s normal. I had about a year ago a serious headache and dizziness for at least a month. I went to an eye specialist, she said, that there is no problem with my eyes. It was a very stressful period, i was writing my thesis, first wave of Covid, home office, and preparing for my wedding. My doctor said its anxiety. After about a year, the dizziness and headache came back. The left side of my face was numb, and i felt tingling in left calf and arm, hand. I went to the neurologist, she said after the physical examination, that I am all right, but sent me to a brain MRI. My MRI is fully normal, and she said it is no MS, becouse i said, i am afraid of MS. To be honest, i am afraid of MS still, and before the MRI I had panic attacks and constant anxiety. There were some peaceful days since, but mostly im panicked, that they missed something. My back, at my left shoulder is tingling like hell. Oh and before the fear of MS, I was afraid of brain tumor, skin cancer, i developed a reflux, then i was afraid of esophageal cancer. Can it be just stress? I was googling MS symptoms, watches a lot of videos, and i was more afraid (It was before the neurologist and before MRI) Do you have any advice? pls.
