Any AFFORDABLE campsites left?

Whilst recently heading off for a few days of vanlife fun with friends in Cornwall, our plans were spontaneously changed by our mate Jess and her engine trouble meaning she had to abandon her vehicle and we gained an additional passenger (and her belongings) on board our van to continue. Our visions of wild camping freely along the Cornish coast were immediately dashed.
Space inside our van was now gonna be tight so to make our lives more comfortable for the days ahead, we needed to find some official camping facilities BUT this area is renowned for costing dearly!
Can affordable camping sites still be found? Have you found any? Please let us know in the comments section...

It is an absolute gem. We have been going there for 3 seasons now. Unsure if we want lots of extra folk cluttering up the site! What we love is the open space, but if you tell everyone else about it, they will flock in their droves. That’s probably the end of a good thing right there. It is one of the best sites in the SW 100% we love the simplicity of it. And when it’s hot that beach top view gets scorching. Great video though you guys. A chilled approach.

Might be worth looking at the main car park in Appledore too. We live nearby and there are often campers parked up for the night. Great little place too with nice pubs, chippy and the beach at westward Ho

Went to Tintagel last year from Maidstone Kent. Roughed it in the van (normal van) woke up in the morning and tore a tendon in my hip. Couldn’t even make it to the end of the car park. Had to go home and have three weeks off work 🤦‍♂️. Definitely going back to try again 😁. Love ya videos by the way 👊😎
