Yes, I think batching is an issue! Some people are getting multiple alt arts or rainbow rares while other boxes are getting nothing. I'm truly worried that this is going to turn away a lot of players/collectors from the game

@Jose Jacobo this is why the japanese sets are better and have to go through a lottery nowadays. No one wants to buy 2-3 booster boxes and get bulk only. A few sets ago, alt art hits had a higher chance, but these days, there's def an issue with quality control. If you haven't noticed it, you're either willfully ignorant or just blind

@Jose Jacobo In addition, it's not just alt arts, but missing rainbow / secret rares. There's enough data out there where this set is an outlier compared to previous sets. No one should have to go through multiple booster boxes worth of packs only to pull 1-3 full arts as their highest rarity. Hence the batching, as my comment and the above video points out

The batching makes sense from a production standpoint. I can imagine that they print certain cards together to save on material or machine cleaning etc. They would technically be losing money if they tried to evenly distribute all of the cards and with the higher print rates that pokemon has started I can see that it would be a compounding problem that they probably aren't focusing on.

I think batching is a thing. Booster boxes went well but when I bought 20 of the sleeved packs I got 3 black code cards. I haven’t had bad luck like that in a long time

I feel like batching is a problem with alts. They seem to be concentrated in certain cases. Also how do feel that you getting your product from 1 main source affects this. As opposed to opening yhat same amount of BB but different sources?

I skewed data on this one. Bought 1 sleeved pack on the way to work the Friday morning it dropped and pulled the Lugia alt first pack. Had the Smeargle character card also. My Evolving Skies pulls are so abysmal that they have evened out all of my good luck though. Awesome video.

I've opened 2 boosters an etb and 2 booster bundles. I got a unknown alt and I got full art Brandon. Bunch of other nice pulls as well. Much better pull rates than lost origin

danny, i opened 1 bb and got an alt art lugia, sold it and got 2 more bb from a different seller and pulled another alt art lugia, its the luckiest ive been since i started collecting!

It’s a strange one for sure. I’ve only opened one booster box and it was half error packs with one extra card inside, specifically two rares (but the extra rare was always a normal hollow or a non holo rare) In that box we got 4 vstars, 2 of them being serperior vstar and a full art Brandon and full art Lugia. Those hit rates seemed very strange to us, no complaints, but it was odd. If it matters, this box was preorder from a website/store here in Sweden.

Seems like the pull rate is similar to brilliant stars which is good, but it does seem like their was a lot of clumping is what people been saying but most part i didn't see many complain about the pull rate compare to lost origin.

I just opened a case (6 boxes) of silver tempest booster boxes. 2nd pack in the 1st box I opened had an alt art Regidrago. 4th box had a Alt art lugia. Last pack in the last box had a Alt Art Skunktank. I opened them in the order they were packed by the manufacturer. Very happy with my pulls!

Yeah, something seems up. Especially, when you open up your case and don't pull a single alt art, but a friend opens up their case and pulls 3 of them. Two of which, where Lugia. The other was Unown.

I opened 3 Booster boxes and a PC ETB and pulled 4 full art pokemon, 1 rainbow and 1 gold :[ The fact that I ended up getting 4 full arts and not a single alt art was upsetting, lol. Also, in one of my booster boxes, I pulled 2 Ho-Oh Vs and 2 Lugia Vs. I don't think I've ever had a double dupe like that before. I'm glad it was at least dupes of the two best looking V cards of the whole set (minus alolan vulpix V)

I don't think a TG will be in Scarlet & Violet but they could shift a rarity or 2 into the reverse spot. With Crown Zenith having roughly 70 gallery cards.

Beautifully presented again Sir. Great bit of information and data there to make some educated decisions. Can i ask, did you but all cases from the same distributor and was it consecutive on the pallet delivery? I ask because the 5 or so cases between alt hits would most likely be packed that way per pallet for international transport. So if they are consecutive, this is a great inside gage of how many cases you may need to complete the set purely on the rip. It would also explain the stories of multiple alt pulls in the same case.. vs 2-3 cases and no alt completely. As early as Evolving skies in sword and shield era. Hopefully you get back to me on this one! 🤙❤️❤️ Keep on with the content lad, you've got the technical side down, run with it 😀

I got a crazy lucky box. An early booster and I got both Skuntank and Lugia V AA….it also was a 16 black border box. Probably the best I have had for black borders

This morning I opened up 2 booster boxes that’s 72 packs got 3 Lugia V’s and 1 Lugia V star and other good cards. Then a couple hours later I go to GameStop bought 10 booster packs. Literally 10 mins ago just pulled Lugia V Alt!!!! At of all places I get Lugia V Alt from a single pack from GameStop .
