u should get a block heater. I've tested both. The oil heaters don't put out enough heat. Ppl think they are good cause u get some oil pressure much faster, but that's it. The oil immediately cools down again.

These pan heaters work amazingly well and are so easy to install. I purchased 2 through Alibaba for less than $30 (inc. shipping) and they came with 3M self-adhesive peel & stick backing. They are rated at a perfect 250W for easy sub-zero starts. Look up SKU321760. You're welcome...
