8F has the powerful ability to perform Arbitrary Code Execution (ACE) by using the Pokémon present in the Pokémon Party. With the correct party setup, 8F will execute code based on what item code is in the item bag. See the party setup and item codes below:
2-5 Pokémon "Tentacool's PPs" setup
Tentacool in first slot with these amounts of PP:
33 for the 1st move (0 PP up used)
34 for the 2nd move (0 PP up used)
19 for the 3rd move (3 PP up used)
41 for the 4th move (3 PP up used)
Onix in the second slot with any move and/or PP
- (any Pokémon) in 3rd slot (optional)
- (any Pokémon) in 4th slot (optional)
- (any Pokémon) in 5th slot (optional)
- should be left empty!

Remember that you should not try to use 8F if you have 6 Pokémon in your party, unless you want to get an expanded party (having more than 6 Pokémon), this is at least the case for the "get any Pokémon" item code.
