I have Ernie's identical twin sister Edith. She gave birth to three little black and tans on March first. Two of them are longhaired. Daschunds are big fans of bad weather, especially snow.

Dachshunds in general hate to go out in the rain but typically won’t wear protective clothing to protect themselves from getting wet which is crazy

It's not really a raincoat. it's actually just to keep him warm. The other one is already warm with all his fur and actually doesn't like to wear harness and coats. But thank you for your concern!
