Her “first accent” so to speak is clearly American as observed through all of her early videos. It isn’t until these recent years that she has changed it.

I have never been very good at chess, so I didn’t think The Queen’s Gambit would appeal to me. Boy, was I wrong! So well done and I have watched it a couple times now! I really like how Anya nailed her part with intensity! Not just from her eyes but her posture and gestures! She’s a brilliant actor and I look forward to seeing her in any upcoming movies/series! She was also great hosting Saturday Night Live! She is a very versatile actress!

QUEEN'S is the best, and most excruciating thing I've seen in years. Perfect balance between acting and storyline. I was bummed out when it was over. So I thought about watching it again, but it's too intense to see again so soon. BTW I'm a pretty dang good intuitive chess player, although I read books many moons ago, I don't remember anything. I LOVE Anya and look forward to watching her transform herself into a superstar. She's just got so much charisma! (Something tells me a LOT of people are pulling for her).
