@@pizzaroll7243 Thats actually a false statistic, and is only "True" Because women tend to not know how to negotiate better for higher pay, When I first got out of Highschool I got a retail job that started me at 8.75(The minimum wage was 7.25 in my state at the time) about sixth months after I started I got my first raise up to 9.00 and was checking something on one of the work computers for my paystub while talking to a female co-worker I was friends with, she had been with the company for 2 years and was pissed when she found out I made more then here cause she was only making 8.75, We had the same job so at first yea that doesnt seem fair, but then I asked her when she got hired and started how much did she ask for? she just looked at me blank faced and said she didnt ask she just took what they started her at, In my interview I asked for 10.25 and negotiated around some and got started at what she was already making, But I also put forth the effort to try to ask and negotiate for myself based off what I shall as my own value, For whatever reason women tend to be less likely to assert themselves like that and its not because of some sexist based system or BS , Your not going to get or earn more unless you put yourself out there do better and ask for what you deserve or earn.

gender equality. naw, for real though, it's trope breaking. for the longest time, lots of anime have had heavy sexism. women are often portrayed significantly differently, even in anime where things like magic should nullify that. the mc's often the good boy that never lays a hand on a woman- even when that woman is super powered evil incarnate. there's exceptions, but for the most part the female protagonists fight the female antagonists and visa versa. anime is a very full market, so these sorts of tropes get used to death, and copy pasted to a hundred different series.... till people get tired of it, and trope breakers come out. once a good trope breaker gets popular, breaking the trope becomes the trope itself as it's copy pasted over and over again.. repeat the cycle. that's why thot slaying has become such a common thing lately.
