I buy adhesive backed gems because creators I follow love to bling their cards and I love the way they look. But either it's not really my style or I forget about them because these things just sit there. (I DO use loose gems and sequins in shaker cards, though.) Maybe I'll dig out the adhesive ones and do a bunch of these and just not buy any more gems! Lol

Once upon a time I bought a rainbow of flat backs but now I only buy clear gems and white pearls. I have close to 100 alcohol pens so can pretty much match a colour to my card etc. Fast and simple and a real money saver as you can buy in bulk!

Hey Natasha...I for the life of me can NOT get the Nuvo drops to look round no matter how hard I try...I hate the little sharp looking like peaks (if you know what I mean??) Would appreciate any hints/tips/techniques you might have as I hate just seeing them sitting in the box waiting to be used!! Lol...thanks

Thanks again for some wonderful inspiration. I have previously die cut the Christmas tree and used little gems as coloured lights on the tree. (Just another simple way to use your gems and it makes an easy, colourful card. My "go to" when i have "inspiration block"!!)😊👍

I just photographed my “collection” of gems and sequins, & shaker fill three days ago, because I am ridiculous. Pretty sure I have a lifetime supply. Two lifetimes. Why oh why are these sparkly bits so irresistible? Love, love, love 😍 the sparkly gold tree. Of course I have a ton of no hole beads as well. They make the best sound in shakers. I had the idea of using dot patterns, the kind used for painting, with gems while watching this video. Inspired idea. This idea I’ve been using for a year or so now: Use your clay slices and tiny die cuts in shakers to make a search & find game. I typically buy my clay slices from beauty supply shops so I get like a thousand slices at a time. But now I just put a “find” list in the card. I use examples of the images in the list, like find 5 strawberries and I place a strawberry clay slice on the list. My shaker mixes are comprised of confetti, sequins, beads, and loose gems (non flat back kind). I then add some clay slices and tiny die cuts. This idea makes my lifetime supply purposeful. 😂

Over the dots. My favourite of these cards is the lines and dots I think. Reminds me of beads. I have quite a selection of Nuvo drops now, though I have accidentally purchased doubles THREE times! I’ve tried other types of bottled dots but they never work as well as Nuvo plus of course, Nuvo bottles are the cutest! (I use Nuvo glue on because I love the bottle!)

All four cards are adorable, but I think I would try the last card (stripes and 3 colors enamel dots) first. I think that would be a great card for a man, always a bit more difficult to make than other cards. Thanks for this great tutorial 👍

I saw someone make a circular ornament out of 2 colors or 2 sizes of enamel dots or nuvo drops. Gold 2 sizes enamel dots ornament looked great. Bees one looks really cute and is my favorite in this bunch. Happy Holidays.

I love your videos because you explain so well and teach us to use what we have not to go and buy expensive crafty items! I don't have a big crafting space so I too need to use up my stash but not just use it for the sake of it and with a tight budget don' t want to waste it on just making ' it' for the sake of it!
