Anyma performed on dec 15th 2024 in Jakarta, Indonesia, in djakarta warehouse project event. I was there, i saw his performance. And i was like 😮 i can't describe how amazing it was. Anyma performed more than just music. You don't just hear it, but also feel it. Omg, he is the best DJ ever!

I frequented the dance party scene in the 2000’s, when the beat dropped we did not jiggle our phones a bit. This is so lame and disheartening to see. Why pay money to go to a live event and watch it through your phone screen? Put the phone down and connect with the people around you for goodness sake.

I grew up in 10 years of War and in all that Horror I had opportunity to listen Live Acts from Astra's, Analog Sintezis, Carl Cox was playing in his favorite Club Contrast with 30-40 of us dancing. Plastic Man literally you name it and it was always about Us! 😃 About having Fun. So I agree with you and I believe that this is what we wanted and it will change...we wanted a faster CPU , faster internet, better graphics...

Back in my day when I started listening to electronic music in the 2000's, if you even had a Nokia brick phone, it played snake, texted with T9 prediction and could maybe take a picture containing 100 pixels.The visuals were some lights waving around and turning off and on. Social media was a MySpace page. I completely agree most spend waaaay too much time on phones at shows and should just take it all in more and be in the moment. But if you need to ask questions like this and berate today's generation instead of encouraging them then right back at you - sounds like you need to get out, get people around you and connect with them to understand their perspectives for goodness sake!
