could we possibly use 'any' instead of 'every' with 'time' meaning a try? 1. "this is a multiple choice quiz, and every time you get a question wrong you do a forfeit" 2. "this is a multiple choice quiz, and any time you get a question wrong you do a forfeit" or 1. "he was my favourite player, so every time he scored i was happy" 2. "he was my favourite player, so any time he scored i was happy"

Hi Snooty. Great question. Yes you are right! You could use either 'any time' or 'every time' in both cases to mean 'each occurrance'.

@@DaybreakEnglish do you take suggestions on what to explain maybe or you have it prepared in advance? i'd like to see an explanation of using "s not" and "isn't" for example: "he isn't doing that" vs "he's not doing that" provided it's complicated enough for a separate video, of course... 🙂
