Lovely design. I like how the design reinforces itself so much in each element. Should be nice and strong that way. No fear of it breaking if my dog jumps on me and gets her paw stuck on it, or a friend's baby grabs it cuz it's so pretty. BTW, I use my wire straightening pliers to straighten my needles (holding the eye end with another pair of pliers).
@Potomacbeadco6 жыл бұрын
I'm so glad you like it, Michelle. Yes, that's the best way to straighten the needles, although eventually they will break, but we always have spares, don't we! Hi Coleen. Thanks for the feedback. I am inspired by new beads and tend to design with those because not many other have. I try to make a point to do videos between that use very little shaped beads and focus more on plain beads. In the last month I have done 7 additional for you :) Check them out on our page including: Midas Earrings - kzbin.info/www/bejne/jaunkoKPhritjLc Rivoli Toggle - kzbin.info/www/bejne/gaTFnYl4mJ16iq8 Natalus Earrings - kzbin.info/www/bejne/sGeVlqSghJ2Ueq8 Deco Earrings - kzbin.info/www/bejne/aoS7Zax6lNKNntE Crystal Tassel Caps - kzbin.info/www/bejne/sIDFl3qXo55qe6s Raw Stretch Bracelet - kzbin.info/www/bejne/rKqXi4GVidl9ers Stackable Memory Wire - kzbin.info/www/bejne/b5DJkqCAgJZ8o9U None of these use shaped beads other than crystals and some Czech glass. I made this list to help others as well looking for the same information. So 8 total in the last 30 days .. I will shot for more :)

I agree with you Coleen. I am on a fixed income and can't afford to buy and try every new bead that comes out. (I wish I could!) This necklace is something I will enjoy making as I have a ton of bicones!

@@police1957 same here I have not tons but quite a few 4mm bicones. I think I will try this necklace it's really pretty. I really wish they would make more videos like they did in the beginning before all these tons of spectacular beads came out. just ordinary beads tutorials that's all I want every now and then maybe once a month? Happy holidays and many blessings

I am so grateful to Allie for posting all these amazing videos that we get to learn from . And they are all free! About those new 2,3,4 hole beads she uses, you do realize that she sells beads and those sales are what feeds her family and enable her to keep uploading those free tutorials. I also cannot afford to buy them all, but I still appreciate her sharing her designs and inspiring all beavers.
@nathanbuchman76865 жыл бұрын
@@police1957 Did you read her reply to your initial post? In that reply she listed 7 different videos just in the previous month before this was posted that used basic beads. Dozens have been done in the intervening 7 months as well. That comes out to several each week that just use basic beads, which is still more than most designers are making.

Great looking and so flexible. As an older lady I wonder, did you have a chance to use10o seed beads instead of 15o? If so - How did it look? If so: which size wire in necessary, and which size Fireline would you suggest? Thanks so much for your shared "treasure".
@Potomacbeadco3 жыл бұрын
You can certainly try using 10/0 seed beads but it will look very different. I always use Wildfire 0.006” but many of our beaders prefer Fireline so that will also work. Just use the Fireline with the Beadsmith name on the label so you know it’s the right thickness for beading.

Hi Allie, beautiful as always. I`m wondering if the bicones wouldn`t be a little uncomfortable and scratchy around the neck, I`m sure you could use other kinds of beads but I do like the bicone idea,,,just wondering about the feel of them, thanks for sharing.

Thanks, Nettie. The bicones don't feel scratchy at all, but if you wanted to, you could add a length of chain for the back. Some people prefer that.

I think this one is pretty beginner. Just take it slow and go easy on yourself if you make a mistake. There were many projects that I was afraid to do because I thought they would be so hard, but I finally jumped in and tried them and they were so much easier than I thought and I was proud that I completed something that looked so complicated.
