I generally prefer music without lyrics because I feel like instrumental is better at describing emotions - there are only so many words we're able to comprehend but music can create endless combinations in comparison. As someone I used to know put it once music is great at translating and conveying emotions because it directly "goes into the heart". This album resonates with me on many levels I'm not able to describe, it's pure art.

The emotions that you feel from listening to instrumental music are also more personal in my opinion, since you don't have anyone telling you the song's story and instead you think of your own narrative.

That's exactly how I'd describe the feeling when listening to music without lyrics. I've always preferred it over other forms of music with crazy visuals, or lyrics. Don't get me wrong; I don't mind either, but I feel a song at its best when I hear it in its rarest form in this way. The way the music is layered in this way is the lyrics in itself. Based off my emotions, and personal experiences even the song title alone can make me resonate with the music. Those small details can make the listening experience your own, and yours alone. well, that's how I like to imagine it anyway ^//♡//^
