AO was, to me, the best basketball player on the AND1 team back when I watched it.

I read that he did a few years back, he tried out for the Supersonics, but he never made the team.

AO in his prime was able to play in the NBA. I'm not saying he would've been a superstar. But he definitely could've been a formidable back up player. He's be DII All American , he's had stints overseas, he's been an NBA D League Champion , and has had NBA tryouts. But never got to the next level. He was a very good player though.

like alimoe said, making the nba is not just about having the skills or talent, if that was the case, guys who didnt made it but was skillfull enough would make it. Alimoe was too real

scariest thing about streetball players is not their ball handling, fancy passing or their dunks... it is how much teamwork they have, it's like they knew what each other wants.

Dozina Love not everyone appreciates that era anymore. These were my superstars from like 2000-2004. I always come back to see the guys, and I'm aware that I represent the last great generation of humans. WE actually represent the last great generation! These were great times in my life. Shout out to the fallen soldiers. Alimoe, Escalade and Flash. Alimoe's death really hurt me. I remember him in the hot tub talking about how appreciative he was, and how some of the kids that couldn't get in the arena "just wanted to see him dribble the ball". I just rewatched the first 4 seasons of street ball, and watching Al breaks my heart still. To me he was a fine representation of what a black is, was and should be!

MRIDDLE72 I definitely agree.. Yeah, it takes me back to some great memories in my life at that point in time as well!!!! I use to enjoy flash, alimoe, and escalade.. All of those guys were monsters on the court and will always be respected!!!! And 1 isn't the same anymore smh.. Man do Time fly.. But each and every time I watch these videos of all the players of the past.. It becomes more harder to watch knowing that so much has changed since then.. Especially seeing the guys who aren't with-us anymore!!!! But, it's still great memories no matter what..
