T90, I live in southern Ohio and go west to the Rockies, Sierra Nevadas, and the Cascade Range to fly fish for trout. Otherwise I also fly fish in the local rivers and creeks for minnows, sunfish, and bass which can be just as fun where I catch 100+ fish easily every trip over 10 species usually. Find out of the way areas for the best fishing sites. Normally for local sites, spring to summer is best.

Yes! What a great state to go to! I was raised in Oregon and Washington and there also many places to go. But one thing you must do is look up the fish and game laws. See what you can fish for it changes a lot, the dates changes year to year so depending on what state or even what river you'll want to fish. I'm actually from Alaska and there is great fly fishing in the Alagnak River in the Bristol Bay area. But I imagine that might be a bit too far to travel. There is also the Green River in Utah where my parents live which is a great place to go Fly fishing. There are also a couple of spots up in Idaho, like Henry's fork.

Historically I think they were called x barrelled organs. So I was doing a research project on some Renaissance people and I saw that one of their inventions were the 33 barellwd organ and I needed three or four inventions to do my project on. I wanted interesting inventiona, which the organ gun is, but I thought the cannon was just an organ but I couldn't find any other inventions. I didn't do my research and just assumed that it was an organ. Im a big fan of the northwest for fly fishing. Wyoming, Montana, Idaho etc. From a timing standpoint you are looking at late summer for the typically best conditions, but that will be dependent on snowfall, and how late the snow melt runoff is going on. You can do guided trips or go off on your own and just hang out with your bro. I like the upper green river personally, but many smaller creeks and rivers are around.

Re: fishing with your bro. - what you need to do is, choose a lake or body of water with some small fish near the shore. You can see them jumping. Build a mill or a dock (ask your brother to help). Then cast your net repeatedly into the water until you catch all the fish. Alternatively, you can build some boats and send them to the fish. Good luck, have fun.

Just happened to see this game in my suggested videos for some reason. If you want to go fly fishing there are several considerations: firstly the best streams in the country are in the West, hands down. There are more fish per river mile and there tend to be good guide opportunities to catch a lot of fish. You can also do all of it with a 6-weight and under. If you want to just get out and experience the river then Northern Michigan is a good option. There's an airport centrally located in Traverse City and there are 4-5 world class trout streams within about two hours from the airport, most substantially less than that. Grand Traverse Bay also offers carp and some of the best smallmouth bass fishing anywhere, as well as largemouth and bluegill on the inland lakes. On a sort of different note if you were interested in saltwater fishing then Belize or the Yucatan are probably the way to go for guided trips. They are pretty low pressure in many of the lagoons down there and you would pay a fraction of what you would for similar trips in the Bahamas or Florida. Hope that's helpful.

Colorado, Montana, Wyoming, Arkansas, Vermont are all great places. best times are early spring or late summer. it all depends on when the bugs in the area enter each phase (spawning, larval, maturity, death, etc). you can get all the info a guide would give you by just going to local fly shop and asking them the best setups and locations for the area you're in.

This is really fun to do at LAN parties. We were getting crushed in a 4v4 when I (being a Persian player) sneaked a couple dozen elephants around the map and sat them on top of an enemy TC. Once it's at 1/4 HP, I hear from the other room: "No! Guys my TC! He's got elephants in my base!" Absolutely priceless.

Late to the party but the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness (BWCAW) in Northern Minnesota is an excellent place if you're looking to get away. Excellent fishing, not sure about fly fishing though, but on the USA side there are no permanent structures and no motorized boats or vehicles allowed. It's pristine, one of my favorite places on earth. Loved the vid too !

If you need a river to fly fish in, try fishing on the Delaware river in upstate New York. If you get a guide and float the river, you can cover a large stretch of river in a day, and haul in plenty of nice trout. As far as time of year, think spring. I’m not exactly sure when each individual hatch is, but I remember hearing about something at the end of May that’s fantastic for trout fishing.

Fly fishing? Forget the States, come to the Province of New Brunswick, Canada! The Miramichi river and its tributaries are famous for their salmon fly fishing during Spring spawning runs. People come from all over the world. It's only ~3-4 hours from the US border to any location you'd want to visit. While you're here, it's just an hour or two to most locations to get a sense of Acadian (the progenitor of "Cajun") culture and food. It's a small, out-of-the-way Province. I won't make any claims of night life, etc. But we're pretty much unmatched for our fishing, hunting, and most outdoor pursuits.

Second this recommendation. Duluth has many good rivers for fly-fishing, Knife river is a popular one. On top of that, the city of Duluth has lots to offer with a charm you don't find many other places.

I went to the Kenai peninsula in Alaska a couple years back. I was the trip of a lifetime, tried all kinds of fishing including fly fishing but my favourite had to be casting only a hook into the water and reeling, no bait! You would simply latch onto sockeye salmon by reeling and the hook would catch their cheeks as they swim, they give you one hell of a battle too and I caught one every few minutes or so. There was also Chinook salmon, the biggest in the world, watched a dude catch a 30 pounder, the thing was huge. Also would recommend the sea fishing there, caught a halibut which was 40 pounds, its cheeks (the most prized part) were the size of some fish fillets from the store. So anyway, you've got incredible fishing and the most amazing wildlife and landscape to accompany you whilst you fish. I know that Alaska sounds kind of cold and all but you'd be surprised, it aint too bad. Thats my recommendation, there are plenty of guides and stuff there. Oh and facilities to smoke your own fish and ship it back home which is the icing on the cake.

Excellent fishing in the Colorado Rockies in late spring. By late spring/early summer large runoff from snow melt has usually calmed down, but by late season the rivers are still cold from snow melt, and the fish are more active. Plenty of lovely towns to stay throughout the mountains. For my unbiased opinion, buy some fishing guides of various places at a sporting good store, and look for yourself which seems most inviting/feasible. Hope the helps!
