I usually go dome and have trouble with this. I guess I just never feel like I age up fast enough nor have enough wood. but I saw that you just went off gold and didn't split your scholars and that was handy to know. I always feel like I can't get to archers with my horsemen though - their guys are just magnets to me. I'll have to play around with it more.
