A review of a GPS device, without any report of actual in-vehicle use is nearly useless. People want to know ease of use, reliability, accuracy of maps, etc. in actual use! If you drove around with it for a few hundred miles and it was super reliable, consistently accurate, people would be able to buy one with a high degree of confidence. (or avoid if you got poor results)

@@kelvinbarrs4291 I believe it charges with mini-usb. It comes with a mini-usb to usb-a wire, so all you would need is a wall charger with a usb-a input(or home pc with a usb-a port).

Can I put GPS coordinates into this satnav? I live in an area where there are few road names or numbers etc but I can find lat and longitude on Google maps. I notice a Google map search on the unit, when I click it says cannot connect to server? Thanks. Gordon

Bought one and the on the keyboard to type destination or whatever is defective. The W, Z, 2, and * do not type. I factory reset and still an issue. Sending back. I will try a replacement. Although frustrating products do get out the door defective.

Sorry you had issues with yours. I certainly hate when products are DOA and can't use them. Unfortunately it happens with all technology. Hopefully your replacement is free of issues.

I went into Date/Time and set the time to EST, and noted the updated time was reflected on that screen. However, when I go into Navigation mode, the time is PST. That is not so helpful given I'm operating in an EST area. Where can the time during Navigation mode be changed? All other references to time are based on the same PST time, which is most confusing and not helpful.

ive got mine mounted on a lisen magnetic vent mount so it sits central in the dash not stuck on the windscreen and its brilliant as a gps does what it says on the box i,m not using any of the media stuff ive got a cd player for music cant fault it for the price

@easyheimer I've started using the fm link to play music downloaded onto a mini sd and it works brilliant through my cars audio system and of course you can still use the sat nav function while music is playing and that ladies voice sounds so much better in high definition stereo when she telling you off for breaking speeding limits 😀 👍

You need to go into the voice selection settings you will find not all voice patterns give street names it's just a matter of selecting the right one 😀

I bought this on Amazon in May of 2019; it WAS fine; when I tried to update the maps - North America - following the company's instructions, I could not seem to get the update to work. Finally, after several attempts, I (rather stupidly!) deleted the entire navigation file set, then downloaded the whole set - as opposed to just the specified update files - that left me with an unusable GPS - tried getting what looked like junk files off the device, but still navigation wouldn't work. In the end I just deleted all GPS files again, so I have a nice tablet that is useless for navigation; I'm wondering if a copy of someone else's files from a working device would help? There is no longer an update site or a way to get in touch with the seller on Amazon or elsewhere....

If you've still got the instruction manual for the GPS, look for the email address that's in it and send an email to them.

@@johnnyenglish5063 Thanks, but I don't think there was manual - I had an e-mail for them, but it's no longer working - I'm pretty sure they're out of business, or just operating in China. It' a pretty advanced GPS, but I think it's defunct, now. I have a Garmin & a TOM TOM, so I'm good. I really appreciate your efforts!

We need to know navigation stuff because that's why we buy/bought it, such as: 1.can I verbally input the destination address, 2. can I update the maps without problems, 3. can I secure it using the provided mount to the car dashboard firmly? Please do not buy this GPS, the maps are very old, I buy 2 then I ended up returning the 2 of them, maps very old, GPS it self not work ,I ended up on the wrong place many times, stay a way from this GPS, save your money buy a Garmin,

This review was a complete waste of time! This was suppose to be a review of a GPS unit, but you did not spend any time showing the navigation system and how it worked. It's ok to mention pictures, games, and other features in passing, but to spend the whole video on it! Next time demonstrate how the GPS unit works!
