Hi, can you tell me if the LA Kindergarten books are teaching any reading? Is there any reading practice or sight words involved? Thank you!

He did well with it. He learned what he needed to and he was able to work at his own pace. For him it was a perfect choice.

1st grade can be started in kindergarten. The 1st half of the reading, phonics, and math are supper gentle. The 2nd half gets progressively more intense, so we carried phonics and reading into the beginning of 2nd grade. So, grade one can last k through 2nd. Super cheap that way too!

Thank you for sharing. Last year we went with Horizons Kindergarten for my son. I wish we would have went with Lifepacs instead. Horizons was much more extensive and stressed us out. We switched to Lifepacs for first grade this year. I love the layout for everything. After seeing this, I know we will use Kindergarten Lifepacs for my oldest daughter next year.
