AOR (Australia Off Road) Caravan || 5 Modifications to our NEW Matrix

What were/are the first 5 changes you did to your AOR? Not necessarily a Matrix scenario either.
In this vid I go through the first 5 (well, okay, maybe 7) changes, upgrades, modifications I did to out New Matrix. None expensive not even cumulatively. None time consuming either.
I am sure there is a myriad of things you have or might want to do to your AOR. I'd be grateful if you could share them.... yes, a wealth of information on FB and on the "official" AOR Portal. But, c'mon, lets share the knowledge and experiences.

Thanks Marion, I have a few videos on the Matrix that might be of interest. On my KZbin channel there is a page called playlists and in that there is an AOR Matrix playlist. The pinch weld was/is a cheap solution to protecting some of the wood rack paintwork. As others have said on FB a bag of some description seems another choice. I’ve kept a bag that I bought firewood in and just re-use that for smaller bits of timber. kennym

Interesting to paint alloy. But in my experience, alloy doesn't rust. And underneath, I thought AOR vans have allow sheets which protect the bottom of the van. No need to add extra weight. I doubt AOR would have the protection plates as an option.

Alloy does corrode and it tarnishes. The painting was more aesthetic driven than concern about longevity. There are no underbody “panels” to protect the composite fibreglass. Sure, the tanks are inside a sheet metal “box”. We use to own an ultimate off road camper (also composite fibreglass) and standard they have a deadener applied under neath. Much akin motor vehicles. I applied the deadener as a measure of protection and longevity (lighter than “plates” for protection) and cheaper than repairing the composite fibreglass. Thanks for your comments. kennym

Hi Russell, I had them made up at my local trophy shop. Just told them the dimensions, colours and font details. From memory there may have been a comment in this thread from another person who suggested they could get similar tags from somewhere else. Glad you are enjoying 👍.
