Late September 2020. The Noto Peninsula is known as the holy land of autumn squid. Finally, the eging game has been lifted in the Uchiura area.
We filmed the underwater footage of eging.
This time, I use GoPro to thoroughly film the moment when a bluefin squid hugs the lure and how it moves during fishing.
I aim at squid by tip-run eging fishing method. I drop the squid lure and make it land on the bottom. After landing on the bottom, I jump up the lure by reeling jerkily and stay. A cuttlefish came to embrace me during the stay.
We still have a lot of newborn cuttlefish in this season. We could catch more and more big squids.
We fished in the afternoon, but we had many bites, and the tip of my rod was getting bent more and more.
After that, I tried to take pictures from the lure's point of view. I set up a camera for the lure in the middle of the leader and made it follow the lure.
I make it land on the bottom in the same way, and reel in the lure several times. Then I saw a big cuttlefish extending its long tentacles to the lure! I was able to successfully capture a scene of blue cuttlefish feeding from a lure perspective.
The Noto Peninsula Aori Squid Fall 2020 season has begun. Many anglers will enjoy fishing this year as well.
Be careful not to over-fish for this season.
The adventure of the sea will continue in search of the giant fish of the road.
