After seeing the English translation of the lyrics, I think I understand the meaning of this song In The Odyssey, Odysseus and his men come across an island of people known as the lotus eaters The lotuses on the island are having a drug like effect on them, they no longer want to go back to their homes, they don’t care about their responsibilities anymore, they just want to stay on the island with their fellow lotus eaters This song is about being in a sort of intoxicated state, no longer caring for what’s important.
