Alana Cecchi is a Alana is a board-certified genetic counselor who specializes in aortic and vascular disease at UTHealth in Houston, TX. She conducts clinical research as part of the John Ritter Research Program and sees patients for genetic counseling and risk assessment in the Multidisciplinary Aortic and Vascular Disease Clinic at UT Physicians.
Dr. David Liang is a cardiologist at Hoag hospital in Newport Beach CA. lHe eads the Clinic for Marfan Syndrome and Related Conditions in the Elaine & Robert Matranga Aortic Center. Dr. Liang is a nationally recognized specialist in the field of Marfan syndrome and genetic aortic conditions.
And Dr. Eric Roselli is a cardiac surgeon at Cleveland clinic in Cleveland, OH. Chief of Adult Cardiac Surgery, Director of the Aorta Center. He focuses on surgery for thoracic aortic aneurysm and dissection. Dr. Roselli performs approximately 350 aortic surgeries a year, including minimally invasive aortic valve repair, complex aorta operations, high-risk reoperation surgery.

About 5 days before he died, my guy felt achy, and he said he wasn't sure if it was muscular or glandular.

Hello, my name is Kiersten and I had a type one aortic dissection at age 30 I am now 32 and having continuous heart problems I had genetic testing done and I did have a mutation that was related to Loeys Dietz Syndrome I now have within the year, developed a murmur, and three of my valves are leaking and the aorta is bicuspid and is now growing sclerosis I think is the right word .. my heart rate is not being stabilized with medication anymore and I feel like I am not being heard .. I am feeling worse and dizzy 😵‍💫 all the time with 4 kids and a stay at home mom ..

I just had an echo and from the last year I also have a murmur and I’m just overwhelmed I am on the hunt for a second opinion because I just feel like I am being made to feel like I am being dramatic and i am just scared ..
