Bought a crucial ballistix cl16 3600 4x 8gb single rank set and got them to 4800 no issues on an msi z490 a pro mobo with a 10600k all core oc of 5.4ghz. Yay winning the chip lottery!

@@jacktheripper4458 Most of the very high oc off these particular sticks are on msi mobo it seems due to the higher quality ddr circuitry. Some have made it to 5000 too. There is also the chip lottery to consider since not all kits will oc to the same level. Try taking one kit out and oc two sticks.

@@jacktheripper4458 Your mobo is fine. All I was saying is with that particular 32 gb 4 stick set they seem to get higher oc on msi mobo is all from reading benchmarks. It can also be the kit themselves as not all memory kits(or cpu) will oc to the same level which is why I said try removing two sticks and oc again and see if that makes a difference. Also unless you are doing video encoding type work the extra speed on the ram will make little difference to gaming or general performance even if you leave it at 3600 stock.

RGB does not add speed but ARGB lowers timings, increases speed, and doubles capacity. The more you know...............

Had the same issue of being stable, rebooting and then instant errors. The board was training wrong RTT's, this seemed to get worse with more voltage. locking them in fixed the issues

Z590 elite / gskill ddr-4000 / i7-117000kf/ Evga 3060ti. Ended up setting it to ddr4-3500 and voltage to 1.35. Stable. Good enough. What a waste of time and I won’t do all that dr who stuff trying to get it to its 4400 limit. Gigabyte boards last me a long long time though. Happy now.

Z590 Master /Corsair Vegeance RGB Pro -3600 /i9-11900k / Radeon RX6800... I can't get this shit to even 3400, anything over 3200 won't post or constant errors and crashes. Super annoying. Gave up after like 10 hours and left it at 3200.

I only have 64 GB of 3600 Corsair RGB Pro but if I turn on XMP at all everything becomes super unstable. Brave browser crashes, Chrome crashes, Age of Empires crashes, CSGO crashes. Can't get it stable to save my life.

I'm pretty sure I also mentioned that the XMP on the 4400 Vipers is too aggressive for most CPUs. Also they have a 4266 CL19 profile and that should work unless your CPU is terrible.

@@TheBURBAN111 Yes, and the XMP works. The highest it'll go in gear 1 is 3600, and it looks stable at both CL13 and CL12. In gear 2 I wanted to do 4533, but I haven't gotten it to POST. I can't just set the memory controller voltages to 1.45 and go down from there, because if it's too high it doesn't work. It has to be "just right".

Has anyone had any luck getting over 4000mhz 2000flck on 5950chip. Have gskill cl16 4000mhz and cant even get docp stable @2000flck @1.5v. Wouldnt stick. Ended up tightening up @cl14 13 13 13 28 42 3600mhz 1.4v.

Honestly the Z590 Aorus Master is the biggest junk i have ever owned..... i have the G.Skill Neo F4-3600c16d-32gtzn B-die kit (running with a 11900k) which should be a great overclocker but i can't even run it at Cl15.... any kind of timing oc of the main timings are result in crashing at boot.... even at 1,5 voltage. What a junk, especially for being a very expensive "high-end" board I would literally pay money to someone that can oc this.....

Reseat the CPU lever 50 times then tighten the 3 socket screws a bit. Then try the memory; if it's still crap buy patriot viper steels or blackouts 4000mhz+
