The boats help to block lanes, use them to block your opponent. In 2.0 I saw players run two boats to force opponents into kill lanes or block landings.

That was a brilliant move with the cloud of midnight to shut down the unleash hell from the Blood Sisters. I hadn't considered that and even with the FAQ it doesn't matter, because unleash hell is stopped by having any enemy models within 3" and the change does not affect that. Great move.

pretty sure the eidolon makes the turtle shooting wound on 2's. It's just a flat +1 to wound- not necessarily just on CC attacks.

An interesting game... there were a few rules mistakes that were caught afterwards for the most part (except the round 3 "Drenched with Hate" ability being forgotten on the eels attacking the sisters of slaughter). I think this game proves even more that you have to take monsters in your list; not having Morathi or any monsters in DoK really hurt :(

Hiya, on this battle plan the deployment zone is right up to the midline of the table and you need to be 9” back or 13”in from your edge. He just looks forward because I hung back a bit. Thanks for the question! Phil

We took a gamble on a house rule here before FAQs came out. We had a good idea spell Law would be fixed for unique units but there is no mention of this in the IDK or Broken Realms FAQ for mount traits so No he can’t anymore as it stands 😭 thanks for the comment!

Good batrep as always guys! I know this was pre FAQ so that makes big difference. How do you think they effect your armies? I haven't had chance to play the new game and might not for abit? Initial thoughts? Keep them coming guys!

Initial thoughts are, most of the changes make sense… clearly removing as many rerolls as possible and tidying up rules that jarred with the new edition. Love the new the tree rules for Sylvaneth…. OBR need a more comprehensive FAQ to account to the game shift to CP. TBH nothing in there was overly surprising and all armies are effected so too early to tell the firm winners and losers. Thanks!

Half way through turn 1 so don’t know if it gets fixed, but doesn’t the soulscryer have 8 ranged attacks the idk can use? Only shot with the leviadon and allopexes

When the Blood Sisters attacked the Leviadon, did you remember to do a monstrous action for him before they got to attack (happens end of charge phase?). Edit: Okay you did manage to catch that!

Out of curiosity, how did you get 2 mount traits in that list? (edit, for the idoneth: from what I've seen in the core rules mount traits are limited to 1 and you cant get more through enhancements unless its a army related buff right?) (edit 2! xD I don't play Idoneth so this is a genuine question! I play ogors and the only way I found to get multiple mount traits is through boulderhead Mawtribe since I cant get more through bonus enhancements)

Checked the BR Morathi FAQ and there’s nothing on that to stop you going by the 1 per type rule in there…. Not sure if that would be overruled by core or not.

Ok if you go by rule 27.3.7 you are good to apply the one per type…. But of course that then opens a can of worms as Volurnos is Unique so can’t do it anymore for him! Good spot.

Yea, I was going off the new 3.0 Core rules where you get 1 of each "enhancement" as a given (Which in this case we get one mount trait as all our other normal things) but when it came to bonus enhancements, there are no ways of getting bonus mount traits explained in the core rules, which left me to believe that its a army only factor now e.g: boulderhead mawtribe letting all mounted heros have 1 mount trait after the first is announced.
