both tools roughing down to X-0 means at the last pass the turrets will crash cuz to reach X0 it has to go lower then x0 by the nose radius of ur tool? or is Okuma smart enugh to detect this? I work alot with this Cycle on LU 300 but my parts always has holes or center drilled.

Good question! Okuma WILL stop this if you have Collision Avoidance, but it will NOT prevent AOT from programming this. It does require the programmer to know that you should never try to make your toolpath get close enough to contact the second tool

It was not so clear to understand why you suggest to offset Z and X a little, so 1 tool can lead the other. Can you explain it one more time, please?

Certainly! The concept I was referring to is sharing an equal chip load between the two tools vs having one tool heaving the bulk of the load, and the second tool simply finishing the cut. If the tools both occupy an exact point in X & Z, the load is even and is 1/2 of the forward feed rate. If one of the tools is at a smaller diameter and slightly trailing in Z behind the other, you’ll have a roughing AND finishing pass occurring simultaneously. Both are useful, but with different end results

Your local Okuma distributor can provide you with a quote for either an embedded installation on an existing Okuma machine, a new Okuma purchase, or a PC based seat for offline programming.

Complete waste of time. Learn G code and you can literally go twice as fast if not faster. You can get graphics in animated simulation outside of IGF also if you know how. Okumas are the best lathes made hands down.
