So many goated pieces of advice in this video! To add on 3 more tips that are a bit more basic that I see newer players mess up often: 1. To add onto 16:14, try and keep your crosshair/mouse generally relaxed as well. Let your movement do the majority of your aiming for you, rather than trying to move your mouse onto every tree or titan you want to hook. 2. If you find yourself going too fast to put into practice a lot of the advice mentioned in this video and you're defaulting back to inefficient or non-optimal movement, g-stop! Control and consistency are most important, so only go as fast as you can while preserving them. (G-stop taught and explained more at 8:38) 3. Don't expect immediate results. AoTTG is very reliant on predicting and being comfortable with your own movements and timings, so often changing anything about your playstyle will temporarily mess you up. Focus on improving long-term and doing what you believe will eventually be best rather than sticking with what works immediately and never experimenting with change.

The reel out maneuver with the fact that holding it and releasing it helps with maneuvering is a great advice, thank you!

OMG, this helps me a lot! Thank you so much Tadex! I had been playing it wrong the whole time, which is why I often crashed. I can't wait for part 3, since I always bump into the titan or miss the nape

Dayum the amount of things i have to keep track of is WAY more dense than I could see from just watching ur speed damage runs, and ive been training speed damage for 5 months now xd also if u turn on gas trails its way easier to tell when u do g stops Also I always thought ur character looked like he was moving slower but it turns out thats just because ive been turning after every tree this whole time
@tadex7330 Жыл бұрын
aaah you're right i should have turned on gas for this yeah abusing reel out can make moving at high speed wayy easier than normal :)

I've been playing AoTTG casually since release and never turned camera tilt off. Tried to do it after watching the video and man, it's so easier to control the height, I'm not flying like a drunk, can see more, the crosshair actually stays on target and I've managed to achieve my personal best score 5 minutes in without trying. It feels like a part of my brain has nothing to do all of a sudden, but it also feels like I've just switched to artificial meat or something because camera tilt made it immersive and visceral for me.

@@Dillarune it used to cancel some animation and make you move faster or something... That was the rumor. But that was in an old old version of the game so it does nothing rn. If anything its helping me train muscle memory for slash timing on the titans maybe
