Aovo pro Es80 unboxing and set up

Hi everyone. Just waiting on delivery of my Aovo Pro scooter and i cant wait to join the community. Ive been riding my friends Xiaomi pro for the past few weeks and im now addicited to e-scootering. Ive got a full drivers licence not to mention a motorbike licence but theres just something about hitting double digit speeds on a scooter that i find amazing. Got mine yesterday, well good, I'm old now an mtb is killing me so this is perfect for work etc. Hopefully ridden properly the police will leave you alone, section 59 of blah blah dunno but great bit of kit for just under 250 quid. Review in 7 days. You'll be happy with it mate. 10outta10 all round. Use the app if ya wanna go quickly.

I assumed from this video that the battery MUST have come charged...Thats odd because my directions said to hook up the charger and take 4 to 6 hours to charge the battery. Also with the black wire there was a 2 inch section lightly taped. I removed the tape and found a quick disconnect plug NOT PLUGGED IN.......no mention of this in this video. Factory defect? The scooter was sent back as defective nothing from the battery.

is that protective film/plastic suppose to come off the display? It is quite thick and it looks awful also makes it difficult to see the numbers in sunlight

i have the same one mate i only payed 40 pound for mine but i have bought loads of new stuff for it like a handlebar extension extra lights and i have the wild man box because im getting the battery soon or building my own one thing i would change on it mate is the crap shite soft metal bolts what go on the bar stem there,s 4 i ordered new ones and soon as i put them on they came loose so i put my own on with bigger allen key to tighten them rite up and no comin loose now so do that and enjoy. when i build a battery for it im hoping it will do about 30mph i only get 21mph now because im dead light 10 half stone anyway ill let you know when i put the battery on and tell what its like so enjoy ye scooter and good video by the way

Thanks for your comment 🖐🏻 Let me know how you get on with the battery, because if you add it in series and increase the voltage on the Xiaomi you have to alter the firmware so be interesting to know. I know You can definitely add a battery in parallel of the same voltage for more range with a y cable both batteries should be charged to same voltage when connected 👍🏻🛴

you could use some blue locktite on the screw to stop it unscrewing from vibrations

Yes in the aovo app you can turn up or down the speed. Max is 30/32 kmh

the 2 prong plug ? its the eu plug I think ... you can get a uk plug with lead and swap them out you probably have some laying around your house :)

Little bit bumpy coz its solid rubber! Thats the only things I don’t like about this scooter but not to bad coz it’s to cheaper only 299$. Goes to fast 23-25k as of now i give this scooter 8-10

They are rubber but yes the vibrations are the down side and are not for me personally I like to ride on air 👍🏻 I did do a video on the air tyre conversion but I wouldn’t attempt it unless your confident as you can damage your scooter 🛴

that all depends on how fast you go 16km at full speed 30kph if you're going at slower speeds you will get quite a bit more, but not that much more I have 4 of them Xiaomi does about 50% more range
