Piaget’s Theory of Cognitive Development part 2 - devolomental Stages
I. జ్ఞానేంద్రియ చలన దశ 0 - 2 Years
Sensory Moter Stage
1. శిశువు జ్ఞానేంద్రియాల ద్వారా , చలనాల ద్వారా తనను , తన పరిసరాలను అవగాహన చేసుకోవడం చేస్తుంది .
In this stage child tries to understand himself and his environment through sense organs and through movement.
Object permanence వస్తు స్థిరత్వ భావన ఉండదు .
II. పూర్వ ప్రచాలక దశ 2 - 7 years
Pre operational stage
1). పూర్వ భావనాత్మక దశ 2 - 4 ఇయర్స్
Pre conceptual period
ముఖ్య లక్షణాలు :
. Animism సర్వాత్మకవాదం - ప్రాణం లేని వాటికి ప్రాణం ఆపాదించడం
బొమ్మకు అన్నం తినిపించడం , మాట్లాడడం , నిద్రపుచ్చడం చేస్తుంటారు. దీనికే సర్వాత్మకవాదం ( Animism) అని పేరు .
.Egocentric అహం కేంద్రవాదం : నేను , నాది అనే భావన ఎక్కువగా ఉంటుంది .
2) Intuitive period
అంతర్బుద్ధి దశ. 4 - 7 years
పదిలపరుచుకునే భావనా లోపం
Lack of Conservation
అవిపరియాత్మకత భావనా లోపం
Irreversibility
III) మూర్త ప్రచాలక దశ 7 - 11 years
Concrete operational stage
Child has ability to understand only concrete one.
మూర్త భావనలను మాత్రమే అవగాహన చేసుకునే సామర్థ్యం ఉంటుంది .
ఇంటికి దారి చూపెట్టగలడు కానీ , ఇంటికి దారి చెప్పలేడు.
IV) అమూర్త ప్రచాలక దశ
12 Years & above
Concrete operational stage
1. Now in this stage child can understand abstract concepts
2. He can Hypothesises
3. Child can solve one problem in many ways
4. Deductive reasoning develops
5. Child can understand cause and effect relationship.

In Pre conceptual stage in intuitive period 4 - 7 years child lacks Conservation means if we two same cups filled with water , he says water is equal in two cups. If we pour one cup water in cylinder like jar , now if we asks in which water is more? The child replies in cylinder water is more you know this is lack conservation. But as child enters into concrete operational stage Tool of Thinking develops . Now the child may give answer the water is same in cup and cylinder. This is conservation.

The second one you mentioned is classification. The has develops ability to identify differences between two things by this he can classify things much more easily.
