You agree with a limited incursion and give consent, but you can’t define a limited incursion, that’s something journalists will have to refer to Israel, so how do you consent and agree to something which is not defined, if there are no set limitations recognised by both sides/parties, then how can this be referred to as a limited incursion?? Israel is a sovereign country.. they make their own decisions … but we’ve always said their needs to be regime change in Lebanon and Gaza.. 😂 Some people are allowed sovereignty and right to make their own decisions (even though we happily arm and finance them, share tactics and intelligence, and intervene militarily when required), but those other countries in Middle East can’t be sovereign, they can never be allowed autonomy and right to make own decisions… WOW, did colonialism and imperialism ever leave??

Hate to break it to you State Department but a Lebanese president is meaningless and powerless. Israel is breaking Hezbollah’s military strength but Sunni and Christian Lebanese will continue to have no social or political power despite Hezbollah’s military might being degraded. You need a new plan-diplomat Amos Hochstein’s plan-of-action is useless. Work with Israel to enact a new plan-the U.S. has been a total failure in the region including Hochstein’s plans none of which have been effective.

I would also love to add that Hezbollah and Hamas are not the same. Matthew Miller judges them as the same and that is the issue. Hezbollah is a governmental entities, you can say that they are committing terrorist activity however, they governmental which means that many of their members are your average administrators health care workers, sanitation worker and so on. It isn't the same as Hamas and should not be conflated. This is why the pager attack is a war crime because it was a direct attack against civilians population that may or may not be militia... Of course, this does not matter if you think everyone that is Muslim and Arabic is an enemy....
