@@donziperk I had a lake boat that would run a little over 90 mph but I sat down in my boat and the wind shield was clear but I still was looking over it. I didn’t think about it when I was driving the boat because I was too busy trying to keep the ass of the boat from passing up the front. My boat was. Meer 15 1/2 feet long and I was more worried about hitting a alligator at that speed than any bugs

The windshield is behind the instrument panel and deflects the majority of the air and bugs, up and over the driver(s). You aren’t seeing 95 mph air hitting their faces. It’s also smart that one person is handling the wheel and the other is managing the throttles. I say they know what they are doing. Most of the comments here are from people ignorant of what they are seeing.

I love seeing this old boat on all the Miami channels. Reminder of the beginning of hauling ass off shore. With that kind of length and displacement you can run 95 pretty safely. It will take one hell of a swell to trip that hull and stuff a wave.

Going that fast on the water is crazy without wind or face shield is crazy. Besides it becoming hard to breathe anything hits you in the face you are knocked out and loss of control,well, you know! I speak from experience! Wear goggles and a helmet or a helmet with face shield ! BTW isn’t going fast on the water a blast! Fastest I’ve traveled on water was in a pontoon boat with 496 I/0, 85mph!
