Hello. White outsider. I'm interested in the religion of the Hopi people. I know something of the Apache crown dancers because of William Ben Hunt's books about Indian Craft and Lore. The Hopi don't let outsiders film their Kachina ceremonies because of their sacred nature. I understand this as: this is church, not entertainment. I feel the Apache are upholding their traditions in this video. They are sharing their culture with other native people and those native people understand that connection. What I don't know, is when the crown dancers are required to appear in Apache culture. I respectfully want to hear Apache comments.

@BellyJae2 жыл бұрын
I can’t speak for this person but in many tribes, the cross is a symbol of the dragonfly. And there are several designs for the dragonfly. It doesn’t always have the affiliation with the church. Our symbols have been around way longer than Christianity and their use of the cross for church.
@je-freenorman77872 жыл бұрын
@@BellyJae A Latin cross was called a Troll Cross, in Pre-Chrisitan, Norse culture and was a symbol of magic. We call the time period of the Age of Aries, the Aryan age, or First Nations, ruled by the Aryans. That was converted to Monotheism for the Age of Pisces, ruled by the fish/Jesus starting around zero. Ages are 2000 years and we ended the old world order, around 2000 and we saw the 9-11 ritual and the age of Aquarius began. Now the rulers are building the religion back better, for the new world order and another great reset. Every 2000 years.

Original apaches were not fat. Vast majority of native Americans were well built, muscular and lean before they were discovered by the spaniards back in 1500's. After the introduction of white European diet/booze, look how much fat these native American have gotten since then.

@hailoweenhailoween52642 жыл бұрын
I'm Fort McDowell Yavapai and I was wondering how was Joe able to do these dances in the first place? Especially him being navajo. Out of respect for the Apaches I do believe these songs and dances do need to be sung by Apaches. Since it's their traditional custom. On the other hand it is something else to see these dancers at the gathering.
