The best and smoothest way to iterate through Sheet and Row is actually an improved for loop aka for each or the .forEach() method from the Iterable interface, which in facts makes good use of the Iterator. You can call a .forEach() in, say, a Row and it will take a Consumer

hi sir, i have a question. i have to test sms model through API post request to send sms in json body like({ "sms_body": " Resl SMS template" }) and hit this we get the respose form of Txn/Non-Txn. On every new sms we got the output in respose body. But for validate 1000+ sms in postman for same url it take much maual effort and time taking. is there any alternate method where we directly fetch the sms text from any file like csv or excel and getting the output. Please suggest. I know one method like to make collection of every sms and in future its help by use and run by runner.

But while entering values into column through Java code it is not reflecting the formule just it is filling the particular column only. Store the excel data values in 2d Array or an Array List. Iterate the values in 2d Array or array list using for loop and write it back to a new excel sheet instead of printing in console alone.

to resolve this. First print your excel cell type (whether it is STRING, NUMERIC, BOOLEAN) on console with the help of cell.getCellType(); statement. Now, copy that cell value from console and put it in your Switch statement. Hope this helps!

If you have imported the project from Git, you will need to add the POI libraries manually. After adding the libraries, make sure you remove all the libraries that states as missing. You won't need the missing one's still existing into your libraries section

This is very straight forward, great tutorial and at a pace that i almost dont need to pause. I have run into a snag however; i am attempting to do this with IntelliJ and everything seems set up the way you instructed however i get an error with line XSSFWorkbook workbook = new XSSFWorkbook(inputStream); NoClassDefFoundError I have no errors in the class we created "ReadingExcel.java" so i found it odd to throw an exception.
