I’ve been using the Honda Hornet 2.0 for 2.5 months and have covered 2000 km. The bike delivers a mileage of 43-45 km/l, which is decent for its segment. The refinement of the engine and the reliability of the Honda brand are its key highlights. The engine feels super relaxed and slightly rev-happy, making it enjoyable to ride. I haven’t noticed any vibrations at speeds up to 85-90 km/h (I haven’t gone beyond that yet). The rider seat is comfortable, though the pillion seat is average. The longest stretch I’ve ridden is around 60 km, and I didn’t notice any major issues, though I did feel slight shoulder pain, which may have been due to other reasons and not the riding posture. Before the first service, the engine felt stiff, but after servicing, the clutch and gear performance improved significantly. However, the absence of a tire hugger makes it prone to mud splashes, and the lack of dual-channel ABS is another minor drawback. Overall, it’s a refined and reliable bike with a relaxed yet lively engine.

The meter has no connectivity features; I think it’s an unwanted distraction and not very useful for me. The LED light is decent. The bike is easy to flick and corner. I feel a lack of confidence when riding in the rain-this could be due to the back tyre or lack of abs in rear break.
