TVS Apache RTR 200 4V is a street bike available at a starting price of Rs. 1,48,735 in India. It is available in 6 variants and 3 colours with top variant price starting from Rs. 1,60,946. The TVS Apache RTR 200 4V is powered by 197.75cc BS6 engine which develops a power of 20.54 bhp and a torque of 17.25 Nm. With both front and rear disc brakes, TVS Apache RTR 200 4V comes up with anti-locking braking system. This Apache RTR 200 4V bike weighs 152 kg and has a fuel tank capacity of 12 liters.
TVS Motor Company has updated the Apache RTR 200 4V for 2022. The latest iteration of the Apache RTR 200 4V comes with a new headlamp design with an integrated Daytime Running Lamp (DRL) instead of twin-pod units on the 2021 model. The updated design resembles the unit on the latest iteration of the Apache RTR 160 4V. The changes, however, are limited to the headlight setup.
Thus, the 2022 Apache RTR 200 features three ride modes (Sport, Urban, and Rain), preload-adjustable Showa front suspension, a Showa rear mono-shock, TVS SmartXonnect Bluetooth connectivity, and adjustable brakes and clutch levers.
The mechanical specification retains the 197.75cc, single-cylinder, four-valve, oil-cooled engine. Linked to a five-speed gearbox, the motor produces 20.2bhp of power at 8,500rpm and 16.8Nm of peak torque at 7,500rpm. The braking setup includes single discs on both wheels. The motorcycle is available in two variants - single-channel ABS and dual-channel ABS.
The colour choices for the 2022 model include three options - Gloss Black, Pearl White, and Matte Blue.

Issues after 1 year or 6500 kms 1) Same bolt issues 2) Completed 5 free service, after that 5 th service bike feeling too different in gearing and clutch usage. When I ask them they are telling that if you need the same feeling you need to change all the parts 3) 5th gear is lagging on high way. Engine is supporting with high speed but on top rpms engine feels stressed. On rides on high we need to rev the bikes near red lines, it would be good if they added 6th gear.

(for example: half clutch vaiga sonna .... ithulayae otuga ji nalla irukum nu solli samalikeraga). Bike ah oluga tight kuda panala ellam kalduruchi vibration la. Valve u sari ya kuda adjustmen panala acceleration kuduthutu vetta 3000 rpm la lock agiruthu, pickup pochi milage pochi, top speed illa carb isathuku vachi irukaga adjustment ah. Bike vagi 2 years achi neraya nut bolt murenji pochi.... wiring la neraya problem enoda 180 la... (bike veyil malai padama cover panni thaan irukum use panatha appo).ABS sila neram sari illa skid aguthu normal road la yae(wet, sand illatha plain roadla) sila neram break key apply agatha mari iruku. Bike vibration la fever rey 2 times vanthu iruku long ride la... but non stop 330km oti iruken. Na apache vaga karanam en frnd apache 180 bs3 2014 model vachi irukaan avan bike la oru problem kuda illa avan sariya maintenance kuda pana matan load lorry mari use pannuvan... avan bike oti pathutu th vagunen but romba difference old kum new kum. Service worst TVS la. Neraya parts rust aguthi murichey pothu. Speedometer problem aguthu sila neram.

Everything is ok except rusting problem bro. When I was went to buy rtr 200 4v bs6, chasis got rusted on its chasis number. And front led light quality low. And no one is providing a original mileage. different people's telling different mileage. Final thing and major thing y I didn't bought rtr is spare part support. Even now tvs are not providing every spare part of apache in major shops. Whenever I ask mechanics,they are saying the same thing if you are in dilemma of buying rtr and R15, then go for R15 because of spare part support. Finally I didn't bought rtr and bought R15s V3. Final minute I changed my mind when I saw rust on new rtr 200. I was waited for that bike for more than 1 month.

I also own an Apache...but after sale service of TVS has not improved in the last 15 years. They infact have the best bikes, but I don't wanto buy from TVS for quality reasons. FZ25 is one of the best bikes in the segment, but you need to change the engine oil to shell ultra or Motul for butter smooth gear shifting, ride quality and smoothness. Then you will know that yamaha is far ahead in terms of riding stability and comfort. A 10 year old bike of yamaha will be as good as a new yamaha engine. Note: I own a unicorn too. But yamaha FZ is the best bike that I have (including reliability reasons).

Definitely you can use for long rides. I am able to ride 450km in a day with 2 breaks... After market accessories are available but everything is not for bs6. Most accessories are of BS4 apache which is also suitable for BS6.

Highway cruising speed if you want a comfort cruising speed I will recommend you to maintain 80 to 100. You can go till 110 without any stress but to have best efficiency 80 to 100 will be good

The one showed is 2021 it not the latest one. The difference is the DRLs come in middle as same as apache 160 special edition and their is a switch on the right side to turn on and off the light these are the difference between 2021 and new one

Apache 160 4v bro... Reason behind definetly ns 200 is powerful but 160 4v is comfort and engine refinement. There is very low viberation... But in NS 200 you can feel vibrations

Dude what are you talking about? The split seat and red&black paint scheme don't show you that it's a 200? I think there are enough differences. Slipper clutch, preload adjustable suspension, radial tire, adjustable levers were all missed. Not to mention more power, dual channel abs and a striking but minimalist paint scheme. I can also tell more, side panels are black in 200 while silver in 160. The 160 has chequered flag stickering. The instrument console on 200 has more features. Only now has the recently launched 160 special edition come up with some features of 200 but since launch of 160 both have been strikingly different. I agree they share many parts but that's how companies work. Look at pulsar or Gixxer series or even the ktm bikes.

Ya bro I completely agree with you. There are lots of difference internally. But on road while watching it go there are very less things which are visible. I spoke only about asthetics and I didn't go technical. As you said the difference like stickering if one doesn't know about apache they can find the difference and the split seat how many actually know there is a difference.. And you told about gixxer if I am not wrong they introduced 250cc first then they came to 150cc so they don't need to project higher cc bikes.. Apache they introduced 160 in first generation... If they would have introduced 200 then come to 160then there is no need.. But it is all subjective brother. I shared my thought that's all.

@@visweshpasupathy7241 Yes I agree visually they look similar because they're the same 4v platform. If you see other apache 2v models they're completely different. Also I think in case of Gixxer, the 150 model came way earlier. Just in late bs4 era 150 and 250 started looking so similar. Also apache 200 came 2017 and 2019 only 160 came. 160 is basically a watered down version of the 200. The 200 is the original one and that's why I think initial 160 models were very problematic as they were adopting 200's parts.
